Teams of FOUR are to enter as doubles partners and must email to pickleballtournamentsaustralia@gmail.com telling us the two doubles teams that will make up your chosen teams, and your team name

Players can play one Gender team and one Mixed team

Live Streaming

Live video and audio of matches will be recorded and broadcast online. Recording equipment

at matches may record your image, voice and other identifying features. Please observe

appropriate standards of behaviour, conduct and language in or around the live streaming

devices, whose presence will be marked by signage at the match.

By proceeding to attending or participating in this tournament, you are consenting to the

recording and use of the information more publicly, as described.

Format:

Teams of four will play doubles “dream breaker” style, rally scoring to 21, switching pairs every 5 points played.

No freeze at 20

Pool Play: Rally scoring 1 game to 21, win by 2

Playoffs: 1 game to 21, win by 2

Bronze Medal Match: 2/3 games to 21, win by 2

Gold Medal Match: 2/3 games to 11, win by 2

*Events to be combined if there are less than 4 teams. Tournament organizers possess the right to combine events based on either skill or age to provide the best overall playing experience, given the circumstances.

Refunds will be provided no questions asked up to the close of registration (minus Stripe fees).

After registration closes provision of medical certificate will ensure a full refund minus the transaction and service charges.

General withdrawal after the close of registration will result in a $30 administration fee being retained by tournament organiser

Once draws and times are published (3 days prior to tournament commencing), NO refund will be given, except when a medical certificate can be provided.

If the event needs to be cancelled by the Tournament Committee then no refunds will be given.
