Tournament Description
The UTM Indoor Winter Slam Pickleball Tournament will be held on December 6th-7th in the UT Martin Student Recreation Center.
Round Robin format with gold, silver, and bronze medals awarded.
Registration Deadline 12/4/24
$30 - 1 or 2 events per player
$45 - 3 events per player
Event Skill Level:
2.5 - 3.0 (Beginner)
3.0 - 3.5 (Intermediate)
3.5 - 4.0 (Advanced)
All matches will be uploaded to DUPR
Players will not be charged a service fee and will be redirected to the university marketplace for online payment once registration is complete.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust brackets and format as needed.
We reserve the right to refuse service at any time.
The Student Rec Center is a water-only facility. (No Food)

Tournament ball – Diadem Official Indoor (Orange)
Friday - 12/6 Men and Women's Singles starting at 5pm.
Saturday – 12/7 Men’s and Women’s Doubles in the morning followed by mix doubles after lunch.
Specific Start times will be published approximately 2 days before the tournament.

Health & Safety
Neither The University of Tennessee at Martin nor the Office of Campus Recreation
accepts any responsibility for ill health or injury sustained while participating in any campus
affiliated pickleball tournaments. Tournament participation is on a voluntary basis, no medical
or ambulance expense incurred by a participant will be paid by the Department or by the
University. Individuals use all Department facilities at their own risk. It is recommended that all
participants undergo a physical examination prior to participation and carry some form of
health and accident insurance. If an injury does occur, it should be reported to the nearest
Campus Recreation staff member immediately. In the event that blood is involved in an injury,
that person cannot continue to participate until the wound is properly cleaned and dressed. Any
clothing with blood must be removed prior to continued participation.
