TapNPaddles plays host to The Spring Fling at District 96.
District 96 is a growing business district in Northeast Wichita featuring restaurants including Raha Mediterranean, The Kitchen and Another Broken Egg. The district also holds entertainment venues such as TapNPaddles and Shot Suite to get all of your pickleball and golf action in one shopping district.
Tournament Format:
Men's and Women's Doubles to be played on Saturday, April 26th starting at 8:00am with multiple divisions starting throughout the morning. Brackets with 6 or less teams may be combined to create larger groups.
Mixed doubles to be played on Sunday, April 27th starting at 8:00am with multiple divisions starting throughout the morning. Brackets with 6 or less teams may be combined to create larger groups.
This tournament features three age groups at each skill level from 3.0 and below up to 4.5 and above:
- Ages 12-35
- Ages 36-49
- Ages 50 and above
Brackets will be split into a minimum of two pools and teams will play a minimum of two pool play matches before being seeded into an elimination bracket. Match format will be dependent on bracket size. (best 2 out of 3, sets to 11 OR 1 game to 15 during pool play. Best 2 out of 3, sets to 11 in elimination bracket games)
The tournament director reserves the right to combine skill levels if felt necessary and make adjustments to match length / format to optimize tournament flow and maximize number of play time for all players. If brackets are combined to create playable brackets, awards will be based on the original division and not the combined bracket. All players will be notified of changes before play begins.
The order of finish will be determined by (1) Total matches won; (2) Results of head-to-head competition, and then by (3) Total point differential.
