The Grand Cities Pickleball Club presents the Grand Summer Slam, our annual summer tournament. Previously ran by Boman Tournament Productions, this 3-day tournament will feature singles, gender doubles, junior & senior doubles, Mixed doubles and for the first time an advanced 4.5+ open division.

Our goal, time permitting, will be to have 3-4 round robin games for each division, then the winners bracket would be best-of-3(to 11), and the losers bracket being one game to 15. However, that is only if time is permitted. We will at least have 3-4 round robin games, then a double elimination bracket where all non-medal games are 1st to 11 win by 2, and the medal games would be best-of-3 & 1 game to 15.

This year will be something special, the GCPC Summer Tournament is dedicated to Troy and Linda Boman, who have been integral members of the GCPC and pickleball community for over 15 years. Linda, after suffering a sudden brain hemorrhage in March 2025, is facing a long road to recovery and requires ongoing care and support. By participating in the tournament, you can help support Linda's journey toward regaining independence and contribute to the Boman family's future.

Should there be any changes due to weather, we have built in some time to shift Friday events into Saturday or Sunday depending on weather, but we also have four indoor courts as a substitute potential based on weather.
