Tournament Description
Emma Willard School, a historic boarding school for girls in Troy, N.Y., is hosting a Thanksgiving pickleball tournament on Nov. 18/19, 2023 for junior, collegiate and women pickleball players.
The tournament director is Cathleen Denbeaux of Pickleball518.
Schedule
Saturday, Nov. 18 - Juniors and Collegiate tournament
1 p.m. Junior and Collegiate events will be combined into one co-ed event.
Sunday, Nov. 19 - Women's events
2.5 women's doubles
3.0 women's doubles
3.5 women's doubles
4.0 women's doubles
The events will be a round-robins with a 3-game minimum. Medals will be awarded.
Teams are considered registered when BOTH team members register and pay for the tournament through Pickleball Brackets. If there is a ghost next to a team member's name on Pickleball Brackets, your team is not registered.
The junior and collegiate events are for experienced pickleball players. If you have questions about which division to enter, email cathleen@pickleball518.com.
Events may be merged or split depending on the number of teams. Morning games may begin as early as 8 a.m.
The tournament entry fee is $35 per player, which includes one event. For the junior and collegiate players, additional events cost $15. Pickleball Brackets charges an additional, non-refundable $5 service fee for each registered event.
Drinks and light snacks will be available.
