Welcome to the Texas Moneyball Open powered by Selkirk Sport!
This tournament features men's and mixed 20-team brackets with a total purse of $1,000 per bracket and is available for anyone that wants to compete.
The men's bracket will take place on November 2nd (Saturday) and the mixed bracket will taken place on November 3rd (Sunday). Start time for both the men's and mixed bracket is 8am.
This is a double-elimination doubles bracket where the format is one game to 15; the gold/silver match will be traditional best 2 of 3 games to 11 (if time allows).
PLAYERS THAT HAVE COMPETED IN THE MAIN DRAW OF A PPA SANCTIONED TOURNAMENT IN EITHER GENDERED-DOUBLES OR MIXED-DOUBLES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ENTRY. PLAYING IN PRO QUALIFIERS DOES NOT CLASSIFY AS MAIN DRAW.
All games will be entered into DUPR.
The cost for each team is $120 ($60/individual) during early-bird registration (October 1st-October 23rd) and $160 ($80/individual) during regular registration.
1st place team - $600
2nd place team - $250
3rd place team - $150
All prizes will be paid out in cash/check.
If the tournament does not fill up the prize pool will adjust accordingly (e.g. if only 10 teams sign up, 1st place receives $300, 2nd place receives $125, and 3rd place receives $75).
