This event is open to all players from 2.5-5.0 with events broken down by skill level first and then age division dependent on the total number of teams/players registered within each skill level of play. Formatting includes round-robin play with brackets to follow with the majority of players competing in 7-9 games during this event.

The Sunriver Amateur Open is taking place at the beautiful Sunriver Resort. We have a large block of rooms available to complete your experience during this tournament. Compete in a couple of events, bring the family and friends, and enjoy your stay at Sunriver Resort. There are so many additional activities for the group to enjoy during this event including caves, golf, waterpark, dining, trails, rafting, and more. You never have to leave the resort and we have you covered on the pickleball side!

Registration Rates:

Registration - $95 - package includes registration only, access to Pickleball Village (vendor booths), viewing access to non-private events, and player swag bag at check-in with event shirt included.

1st Event - $75 - includes participation in 1 event, access to Open Play times, daily grab-n-go breakfast & lunch, access to Pickleball Village (vendor booths), and invitation to event reception Day 1 from 4P-10P.

2nd Event - $55 - includes participation in 2 events, access to Open Play times, daily grab-n-go breakfast & lunch, access to Pickleball Village (vendor booths), invitation to event reception Day 1 from 4P-10P, access to Pro Clinic, and one complimentary drink ticket at reception.

3rd Event - $55 - includes participation in 3 events, access to Open Play times, daily grab-n-go breakfast & lunch, access to Pickleball Village (vendor booths), invitation to event reception Day 1 from 4P-10P, access to Pro Clinic, and two complimentary drink tickets at reception.

Schedule – scheduling is subject to change at the discretion of the event director when and where needed with finalized dates and times coming out 10 days prior to the event. Below are the tentative and expected times for play to take place.

6/5 - Pro Clinic, Cash Prize Qualifiers (those with team DUPR ratings under 10.0), Women's Singles 3.0-5.0, Men's Singles 3.0-4.0, Reception 4P-10P

6/6 - Women's Doubles 3.0-5.0, Men's Singles 4.0-5.0, OPEN Women's Doubles Cash Event, Junior Doubles (DUPR 3.74 or Less)

6/7 - Men's Doubles 3.0-5.0, OPEN Men's Doubles Cash Event

6/8 - Mixed Doubles 3.0-5.0, OPEN Mixed Doubles Cash Event, Junior Singles (DUPR 3.74 or Less)

Format – there is a 6+ game guarantee in place; single game round-robin matches played to 15, win by 2, for doubles followed by brackets with best 2 of 3 set for bracket medal matches; singles matches will include rally scoring to 21, win by 2.

Divisions - to simplify registration, all registrations will be sorted by skill level during the registration process before being sorted by age when and where possible.

APA has a complete Event Formats page describing format expectations, qualifying divisions of play with regards to DUPR ratings, and how seeding/tie breakers work through the link below. It is each players responsibility to review and understand the posted policies prior to completing registration. Please pay close attention to the Qualifying Divisions of Play as our team will push all players to their qualifying division of play based on this information to prevent players from "playing down." Players with 25+ games posted to DUPR and a 60%+ reliability rating will play at their posted DUPR rating regardless of their assumed abilities. These posted expectations will be applied across the board to all players at all events.

All registrations are considered final once payment is processed. There are no refunds once registration has been submitted and registrations are not transferable. A full credit will be made available to participants withdrawing 2+ weeks prior to the originally posted start date for the selected event.

Outdoor events impacted by weather will not have indoor backup plans. A 50% credit will be made available to participants impacted by weather who played no matches. Once matches begin, no credit values will be available. Events that have a change in date prior to the posted start date will have a full credit available to all participants, no refunds.

A refund is an amount processed back to the individual customers credit card. A credit is held with APA for future use towards an event of your choosing with no expiration date.

Players submitting registration without a partner will receive a CREDIT towards a future event should a partner not be located prior to the start of the event. There will be NO REFUND if APA cannot locate a partner.

Players submitting registration after the registration deadline, Tuesday at 6pm on the week leading up to the event, will receive a CREDIT towards a future event if APA cannot add the player to the schedule. There will be NO REFUND if APA cannot make the late registration addition to the tournament.

Players changing partners within 2 weeks of the event start date will need to have the new player complete registration, and payment, in order for the new player to participate. The player being removed will have a credit available towards a future event with APA, less a $15 administrative processing fee. If APA has to locate a partner to fill a void, there will be no credit value available to the player withdrawing within 2 weeks of the event start date.

OPEN Doubles Cash Prize Divisions - all events have a cash prize OPEN division available. This division will accept players of any skill level and any age with cash prizes available for each team up to the following increments (**sold out division - with 14 teams**):
