2025 Spring Fling Pickleball Tournament

ESPA Tournament Series – Tournament #3 of 6

Welcome to the 2025 edition of the Spring Fling at The Courts at Harmon Field in Salisbury MD.

The Courts at Harmon Field is an outdoor dedicated pickleball complex located at 409 Church Hill Ave in Salisbury MD.

The Courts are home to 6 court pods, with 2 courts inside each pod plus each court is separated by a fence to limit the amount of play interruption from stray pickleballs. There are a total of 12 courts and all courts are lighted if daylight runs out, so play can continue.

Registration Dates: Opens: January 23, 2025 Closes: April 27, 2025

Tournament Dates: May 2 – 4, 2025

Cost: $50.00 this price includes all events entered + Dri-Fit Tournament Shirt. There are NO Event Fees!

Youth Divisions are free of Tournament Registration Fee!

All Skill Levels are Based on a player’s DUPR Rating and all DUPR Accounts Must be connected to the players Pickleball Brackets Account * No Exceptions*

Friday, May 2, 2025 (Non-ESPA Event – No ESPA Points are awarded for this events)

• Morning Session – Men’s & Women’s Full Court Singles

o Ages 18-39 / 40-49 / 50-59 / 60 +

o Skill Level: 2.5 – 3.49 / 3.5 – 3.99 / 4.0 +

• Afternoon Session – COED Doubles (Teams may be Mixed or All Men or All Women)

o Ages: 1 Player must be 50 or above & 1 Player must be Under 50

o Skill Level: Open

Saturday, May 3, 2025 (ESPA Events – Points Awarded towards the ESPA Tournament Series Standings)

• Men’s Doubles & Women’s Doubles

o Ages 18-49 / 50-59 / 60 +

o Skill Level: 2.5 – 3.49 / 3.5 – 3.99 / 4.0 +

Sunday, May 4, 2025 (ESPA Events – Points Awarded towards the ESPA Tournament Series Standings)

• Mixed Doubles

o Ages 18-39 / 50-59 / 60 +

o Skill Level: 2.5 – 3.49 / 3.5 – 3.99 / 4.0 +

• Afternoon Session - Youth Division: High School (age 14-18) Middle School (11-13) Elementary School (age 8-10)

Tournament Format:

Men’s and Women’s Full Court Singles

**Note Brackets with 2 Teams or Fewer will be notified, by the tournament director and will have the option or removing themselves from the event or switching to a different bracket of their choice that they qualify to enter.

• 3-4 Team Brackets

o Single Round Robin (Games played to 11 win by 1)

o All Teams Advance to Double Elimination (Games played to 11 win by 2)

 Loser Bracket CANNOT win Gold

• 5 to 7 Team Brackets

o Single Round Robin (Games played to 11 win by 1)

o All Teams Advance to Single Elimination (Games played to 11 win by 2)

• 8 Team Brackets

o Two pools of 4 Teams – Single Round Robin (Games played to 11 win by 1)

o All Teams Advance to Single Elimination (Games played to 11 win by 2)

• 9 Team Brackets

o Three pools of 3 Teams – Play Single Round Robin (Game to 11 win by 1)

o All Teams advance to Double Elimination (Games played to 11 win by 2)

 Loser Bracket CANNOT win Gold

• 10+ Team Brackets

o Teams will be put into pool (number of teams in a pool TBD) (Games to 11 win by 1)

o All Teams will advance into Single Elimination (Games to 11 win by 2)

COED Doubles (MUST HAVE 16 teams for this event to take place)

• Teams will be place in 4 Regions with 4 Teams and play a round robin

o The top two teams will advance from each region to the knock out stage

o All matches will be best 2 of 3 played to 21 win x 1 Rally Scoring

Refunds will be accepted and processed up to April 18, 2025 (less $10.00 for Admin Cost)

No Refunds will be processed after April 18, 2025

COED Division Only (Friday Afternoon)

1st place: $300

2nd place: $200

3rd place: $100

This tournament is an outdoor tournament and we will do everything we can to assure that this tournament is completed for all divisions. This includes stopping for rain delays, playing at night time under lights if needed.

This also includes reformatting the tournament to get all games in for all division. The tournament director reserves the right to make any changes needed to complete the event.

The rain date for this event will be May 9-11, 2025 if needed.
