The Pickleball South Australia Under 3.5 Doubles Tournament 2024 is being held on Saturday October 19 and Sunday October 20, comprising Gender doubles and Mixed doubles.

The tournament venue is indoors at Reynella East College.

Registrations close on 2nd October 2024 at 11.55pm ACST. Players in brackets with fewer than 4 players/teams will be contacted and given the opportunity to move to alternative brackets - there will be no merging of brackets.

This is a Pickleball Australia SANCTIONED tournament using the IFP Official Rules of Pickleball.

Here are some key details for your tournament entry.

- Entry Fee: $50 per player includes one event. Additional events are $10 per event. Service fees apply to all registrations.

- Events will start with round robin games in groups (either one game to 15 win by 2 or one game to 11 win by 2, depending on the size of the bracket) and move to elimination (one game to 15 win by 2). Medal matches are best 2 out of three games to 11 win by 2.

- There are two age categories: 19+ players and 50+ players.

- Players of an older age can enter a lower age group event.

- Within each age category,there are 3 skill levels: 2.49 and under, 2.5 to 2.99, and 3.0 to 3.49

- Players are guaranteed three games in their event.

- Medals will be awarded to gold, silver and bronze winning competitors for each bracket.

The tournament director reserves the right to modify the events and/or schedule as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the tournament.

Before registering for this tournament:

1. You must have a current PAA membership through your state pickleball association e.g. Pickleball SA.

2. You must have a profile on Pickleball Brackets.com.

The balls being used at the tournament are Indoor Franklin X26 in Yellow. Competitors are required to select clothing that is other than yellow in colour (according to the International Pickleball rules) so there is no confusion seeing the ball.

Player requests for withdrawals will be accepted until 2nd October 2024 at 5pm for a full refund.

After this time there will be no refunds provided, unless in case of a health issue, with refund decisions at the discretion of the tournament organisers.
