The Pickleball South Australia Doubles Championships 2023 are held on Sunday 28 May at The Lights.

Registrations close on 12 May at midnight ACST.

This is a Pickleball Australia SANCTIONED tournament using the IFP Official Rules of Pickleball.

Here are some key details for your tournament entry.

- Entry Fee: $30 per player. All matches are doubles.

- Players in doubles teams may only play in one of gender doubles (women's or men's) or mixed doubles, not both.

- Events will start with round robin games in groups (game to 11 win by 2) and move to elimination (game to 15 win by 2). Medal matches are best 2 out of three games - first two are first to 11 with the last being 11 win by 2.

- There are two age categories: 18+ players and 60+ players.

- Players of an older age can enter a lower age group event.

- Players are guaranteed three games in their event.

- Medals will be awarded to gold, silver and bronze winning competitors for each bracket.

The tournament director reserves the right to modify the events and/or schedule as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the tournament.

Before registering for this tournament:

1. You must have a current PAA membership through your state pickleball association e.g. Pickleball SA.

2. You must have a profile on Pickleball Brackets.com.

The balls being used at the tournament are Onix Fuse indoor balls in orange. Competitors are required to select clothing that is other than orange in colour (according to the International Pickleball rules) so there is no confusion seeing the ball.

Player requests for withdrawals will be accepted until Thursday 25 May at 5pm for a full refund.

After this time there will be no refunds provided, unless in case of a health issue, with refund decisions at the discretion of the tournament organisers.
