This is a TWO DAY tournament (December 7-8) hosted by Smash Point Pickleball Club!

Gender doubles, mixed doubles and singles events with skill brackets including: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and couple of open events including skinny singles. Brackets will be broken into the following age groups as long as there are at least 4 teams to play the bracket: 18+, 35+, 50+, 60+.

Games will be played on 8 regular and 2 skinny singles indoor courts with fixed nets, playing with the Franklin X40 ball. Both partners must be paid in full with signed waivers for registration to be considered complete and to ensure your spot in the bracket. Schedules will be posted a few days in advance and brackets will be available 2 days before the start date.

Primary format will be double elimination. Games will be played best 2 out of 3, win by 2. Consolation bracket will play one game to 15, win by 2. Brackets of 5 teams or less will play Round Robin format.

Singles brackets will play all games to 15, win by 2. (In skinny Singles also)

In the event that a bracket does not have sufficient teams the Tournament Director reserves the right to combine brackets.

USAPA 2024 rules will apply

Tournament ball will be Franklin X40 ball

Team age brackets are determined by the age of the youngest partner. Age as of December 31, 2024

Note: Older players may play down, but not up in age groups

Team skill level will be determined by the highest skill level

Tournament Director reserves the right to change the format, adjust the age brackets, and cancel the event based on participation

Trophies will be awarded for the top four teams in each bracket regardless if combined

No refunds for any reason after November 30, 2024. For withdrawals before that, only the registration/event fee will be refunded. The Service Fee charged by Pickleball Brackets ($5 per event, $10 maximum) will be retained by the tournament. Player fees are non transferable.

Tournament will be indoors so weather shouldn't be a problem but in case of severe weather contact the tournament director

Smash Point Pickleball Club is a safe family facility but we encourage everyone with illness or any symptoms to stay home.
