Important Note: These times are subject to change. Please plan to be available for the entire day of June 22nd & 23rd in case of adjustments to the schedule.

PLEASE arrive 30-45 minutes before your start time to check in and warm up. We will start check in players around 8:30 am on June 22nd and 9:30 am on June 23rd.

Tournament balls: 4.0+ brackets will use Joola Heleus. All other brackets Joola Primo.

The MTP Smash Cancer Tournament, in support of the American Cancer Society, will be held from Saturday, June 22 to Sunday, June 23, 2024, at the More Than Pickleball (MTP) in Buford, GA. More Than Pickleball is an air-conditioned 8-court indoor pickleball facility with cushioned courts.

Tentative brackets will be as follows:

Saturday, June 22

Men’s and Women’s Doubles all skill levels

Sunday, June 23

Mixed Doubles all skill levels

Start time TBA, but can be as early as 8:00AM depending on the number of players on each bracket.

FORMAT: Double Elimination Format OR Round Robin followed by single elimination medal round. After registrations are finalized, more detailed format and start times will be posted.

Brackets may be cancelled or limited in size based on registration numbers. The Tournament Director may modify the competition format in the event of low numbers or other unforeseen delays and circumstances.

Event Registration Policy

IMPORTANT!: Tournament Director may move your team to another bracket (lower or higher skill levels) based on your ratings, our knowledge, and for any other reasons. No refund will be allowed in case you are moved to a different bracket.

Online payment via Pickleball Brackets.

Registration is not complete until BOTH partners have registered, agreed to the tournament waiver, and paid all fees owing. Registration is limited in each event.

If you are waitlisted for an event, you do not need to make a payment for that event. Should you be moved from the waitlist into the event, you must make your payment at that time.

Competition courts will only be available for warm up 30-min prior to the start of the events each day. After the tournament has started, warm ups are restricted to the narrow warm-up court near the Front Desk. This helps us stay on schedule. Plan to arrive at the venue 45 - 60 minutes prior to the start of your event to allow time for check-in, warm-up and to prepare for your first match.

If there are not enough teams for a bracket, We will combine age divisions first, then skill divisions. Larger brackets, we will do a round robin and the top teams from each pool will move on to a playoff bracket. We reserve the right to combine or split brackets as necessary based on timing and those involved.

Refunds will be accepted until Saturday, 6/15/2024 at noon - minus any pickleballbrackets.com service fees. After that date, refunds will not be granted for any reasons.
