Serve For Strength

The Serve for Strength Pickleball Tournament is a one day fundraising tournament. All brackets will be open doubles and play round robins. There will be only skill divisions. No age or gender divisions. Any doubles teams may enter. Teams can be M/M, F/F or M/F in same division.

Round Robin Play with top teams from each pool playing for gold & silver.

The auction items include:

- A one hour lesson with Tennis professional Jenson Brooksby

- Training session with Saddlebrook performance sports by Chris May

- Round of golf for four players at saddlebrook resort

- One hour golf lesson with saddlebrook pro Logan Horrigan

- One hour lesson with Matt, the SVB Pickleball pro

- Basket from saddle, preparatory school

- A Tennis camp from Saddlebrook tennis Academy

- A week of summer camp from BOLT tennis Academy

- 1 hour lesson from Bradstreet sports Academy by Jason Bradstreet

The Resort has approved self-parking in Lot 2 at no charge.

Discounted day of valet rate $12.00 per car.

Overnight parking will remain the same at $30 per car / per night.

Additional Information

Hi! My name is Valerie Simon, and I came up with the idea for “Serve For Strength” as a way to “give back.” My goal for this fundraiser is to help raise money for children, like me, who need special life-changing bone surgeries, but cannot afford them. I have had two such major surgeries, and I am so thankful for them. Without these surgeries, I would not have been able to resume playing tennis and would not have been introduced to pickleball.

I was fortunate that my insurance covered most of the cost of my surgeries, but other kids might not be as lucky. These surgeries helped me get back to doing what I love, which is the best feeling in the world. I want to help other kids get back to what they love as well.
