SEACOAST SMASH -- This pickleball tournament offers a fun competition with divisions for all levels from beginners to advanced. Enjoy like level competition knowing that 100% of your registration fees support the Marshwood High School Tennis Teams. The tournament welcomes everyone from those entering their first tournament up to those who have played tournaments for years. We even have a "Just for Fun" division for those who don't know and don't care what their level is... this is a division for those looking to just be social with others and support the cause.

We will be playing on 10 outdoor courts at Marshwood High School. Marshwood High School has plenty of parking and is located on the Seacoast just 15 minutes from the walkable port city of Portsmouth, NH. What a fabulous weekend getaway just an hour from Boston! Easy for locals in our community as well as a fun weekend getaway for those looking to explore Portsmouth, NH and the gorgeous Maine beaches... day trip it or make a weekend of it!

SATURDAY, JUNE 18th: Men and Women in the morning and Youth late afternoon

SUNDAY, JUNE 19th: Mixed

$59.99 Early Bird Registration Fee if registered by May 1st ($69.99 if after April 30th) for each tournament event. Each additional event is $35. Register based on your age and skill level.

Tournament Format:

*Events with 9+ Teams: Teams will be divided into two or more seeded pools and the top two teams in each pool will advance to a playoff round to determine medal winners.

*Events with 8 Teams or Less: Round Robin for events with a small number of teams.

*Skill Level: For doubles and mixed doubles, you must sign up at the skill level of the higher-rated partner. Players with a PickleballBrackets.com rating must use that rating. Players with a USAPA UTPR rating but no PickleballBrackets.com rating must use that rating. Players with neither rating may self-rate. Ratings will be verified when registration closes. The tournament reserves the right to move players and teams between skill level brackets/events.

*Registering Together As A Team (TIP) : For a guaranteed spot in mixed doubles or doubles, the second partner must sign up within 3 days of the first partner's registration. Incomplete teams will be moved to the waiting list after that. Once the second partner registers, they will be moved back into the event IF THERE ARE SPOTS LEFT IN THE TOURNAMENT AND THE EVENT.

Safe Tournament Environment:

*Spectators must sit in designated viewing areas. You are welcome to bring your own chair etc.

*Spectators will be permitted at the facility during the events.

*Vaccinated players & spectators are not required to wear masks. Vaccine cards will not be checked.

Food & Beverage:

* Snacks and water will be available for purchase on-site.

*Refunds minus a $10 processing fee for withdrawals from the tournament up through June 10th.

*Replacement Players/Subbing* Entry fees may be transferred to a replacement player/sub of similar skill level at any time up through the morning of the event.

For Example: A player won’t be able to attend the tournament but has a replacement/sub. Can the replacement/sub take my spot? Yes, only if the player is of a similar level, then she or he can take your spot for tournament play; payment would need to be worked out amongst yourselves.

*Refunds will be processed after the tournament is over.

*If the tournament is canceled due to COVID restrictions or for any other reason, players will receive 50% of their initial payment.
