• This is a small tournament with registration limited to SCPC Members. Numbers are restricted in each event. It is recommended that you register early. If the event you want to compete in is already full, you will be placed on the WaitList. This does not mean that you will not be able to compete. It means that we will try to accommodate your registration as places become available. You will be automatically notified if/when you are removed from the WaitList.
• Open categories are available for Mixed, Men's and Women's Doubles. This is also the category for all players who are rated over 3.0.
• Everyone registering should ideally have a partner registering also at close to same time. A registration is considered complete when the Team is complete. BOTH players must register within 4 days of the first
player's registration OR the team will be moved to the WaitList. If you do not have a partner, you can look under 'Players Needing Partners' to find a partner. (Click on the large button next to the logo on the Home page of the tournament website).
* If you have registered and not found a partner by February 2nd, you need to contact the organisers to seek assistance.
• Participants are required to enter events at their current skill rating. If you are not rated, consult the self rating guide which can be downloaded from the top of this page (Flyer)
• At a minimum, referees will be scheduled on the gold medal match.
If you are unavoidably detained and it appears that you will not arrive in time for your game/match, please contact Peter Nichols. We can update you on the schedule and consider options but your game may result in a forfeit.
Tournament program*
This is the program schedule as of February . The current starting times of the events have been posted on the tournament website (Pickleball Brackets). Please be aware that tournament schedules are quite fluid.
We will have two excellent court controllers on the day who will ensure maximum usage of the pickleball courts. Thus, the games may start earlier. Alternatively, games may run over the allotted time in the schedule and thus playing times becomes extended.
Registration: 8:00 am to 9:00 am Sunday 19th February 2023
Women’s Doubles start from: 8:30am
Men’s Doubles start from: 8:00am
Mixed Doubles start from: 11:30am
Men’s Doubles Opens start from:1:00pm
Women’s Doubles Opens start from: 1:00pm
Mixed Doubles Open start from:3:00pm
Last game planned to finish at: 5:00pm
