All proceeds will be donated to the Children First, our local Athens area advocate for foster children, a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting safe homes for children in times of family crisis. Children First depends on the support of community members like you to continue services for families in crisis, engaging them in the community and through the courts in order to ensure safe, stable, nurturing living environments for children.

PLEASE NOTE: When you pay your registration fee via credit card, your statement will show a Stripe charge from Children First, Inc. as the payee.

Event Divisions will be offered for (minimum age of 15):

Players will sign up with a prearranged partner.

***A team must play at the skill level of the higher rated player.***

Division Brackets will be played as follows (minimum age of 15):

2.5 and under – Mens Doubles, sign up with set partner

2.5 and under – Womens Doubles, sign up with set partner

3.0 – Mens Doubles, sign up with set partner

3.0 - Womens Doubles, sign up with set partner

3.0 – Mixed Doubles, sign up with set partner

3.5 – Mens Doubles, sign up with set partner

3.5 – Womens Doubles, sign up with set partner

3.5 – Mixed Doubles, sign up with set partner

4.0 and above – Mens Doubles, sign up with set partner

4.0 and above – Womens doubles, sign up with set partner

4.0 and above – Mixed Doubles, sign up with set partner

You may register and identify your partner or request "Need a Partner".

If you need a partner, click the “Players Needing a Partner” link on the Registration Page. You will be provided with contact information for a list of players also seeking a partner within the bracket you wish to play.

Your spot in the tournament is not guaranteed until you and your partner have both registered, and all fees have been paid in full.

If you wish to play in two events (i.e. Mens Doubles plus Mixed Doubles, or Womens Doubles plus Mixed Doubles), the second event fee will be $15.00.

Each bracket with play a Round Robin format; your team will play one match against every other team in your bracket.

Each match will be one game to 11, win by 2. Each game is allotted 20 minutes. At the end of 20 minutes, team with highest score wins. If tie exists at end of 20 minutes, then last serving team serves one additional point … winner of that point wins the game.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded for each division; awards presented at the completion of each division after the games have been tabulated. ***In the event of a tie, we will use total points scored as a tie breaker.***

For all 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0+ Brackets, after Round Robin is completed, the four teams having the highest number of games won will proceed to a playoff round. The first and second top scoring teams will play one game to determine the Gold and Silver medals. The third and fourth top scoring teams will play one game to determine the Bronze medal.

***As registration proceeds, tournament management reserves the option to split brackets into age groups, or combine brackets as needed if brackets do not fill. Also, all start times are subject to change as brackets might be merged or split based on event registration.***

***At time of registration, you must agree to the terms of the Accident Waiver and Release of Liability form. If you are a minor (under 18), your parent or guardian must sign this form. You can request a form to be emailed to you by emailing kandacasa15@gmail.com.***

There are no referees, all matches are self-monitored; No Exceptions.

Jennings Mill Tennis Center has 8 permanent, dedicated outdoor pickleball courts and 12 additional outdoor semi-dedicated pickleball courts. The ball used will be the Franklin X40 outdoor ball in the color Yellow.

Snacks, one bottled water, one drink ticket (for a beer, cocktail drink or soft drink) and one barbeque sandwich will be provided to all registered players. Additional drinks and barbeque sandwiches will be available for a small donation. You may bring food with you. Please clean up after yourself.

We will have a charity Silent Auction on the day of the event, where various items can be bid upon. The highest bidder at the conclusion of the Silent Auction will be awarded the item. 100% of the proceeds from the Silent Auction will be donated to Children First.

Cancellation deadline is 6:00 PM on April 15, 2023. ***No refunds for any reason after that date.***

Cancellations prior to that date will be subject to a $5 administration fee ($10, if registered for two events).
