The Regency Kelowna Open Tournament is a fun, social, competitive experience for ALL players, providing an opportunity to develop tournament playing skills.

There are opportunities for players to volunteer and experience working at the tournament desk, tournament operations and refereeing for medal matches.

This tournament has AGE brackets (Juniors <10 and 11-16; open to all; and 60+) and SKILL brackets for singles, mixed and doubles.

Adult games are best 2 out of 3 to 11, win by 2, or first to 15. Double elimination. B side one game to 15, win by 2, or first to 19. Junior games are round robin format. The Tournament Director reserves the right to change to 'win by 1' upon potential time constraints.

June 1 Member advanced registration starts at 7am

June 8 Non-member registration starts at 7am

June 8 Members previously registered have 3 days to connect to their partner and complete both registrations prior to being moved to a waitlist

June 8 New registrants will have 3 days from the date of their registration for both partners to complete their registrations prior to being moved to a waitlist

July 3 Registration closes at 9:00 pm

July 12 Last day for refunds

July 15 Event Day: Mens Singles, Womens Doubles

July 16 Event Day: Juniors, Womens Singles, Mens Doubles

July 17 Event Day: Mixed Doubles

The registration fee is $65 (waived for PKC members), with an additional $15 per event for all players ($5 for Junior players). Plus GST.

This is NOT a sanctioned tournament; medal matches will be reffed.

Results WILL affect your Pickleball Brackets ratings.

Skill level is based on your Pickleball Brackets overall rating.

The Tournament Director reserves the right to review, and possibly alter the rating of players who self-rate below or above their actual rating, combine age and/or skill levels if required.

Pickleball Canada Registration Requirement:

All registrants must be members in good standing through July 17, 2022 to play in this tournament.

Registration Fees, minus a $15 Administration Fee, will be refunded for withdrawals before July 12, 9:00 pm. Any withdrawals after July 12, 9:01 pm will not be refunded.

Refunds will not be issued for cancellations due to acts of nature ie rain or smoke. This tournament will abide by all Public Health Orders and refunds will not be issued if cancelled due to PHO reasons ie restrictions on numbers for outdoor gatherings.
