Double Elimination with no come around (i.e. if a team loses a match the best they can do is bronze. They cannot come around to win the gold).
Winner Bracket: Matches consist of a best of 3 game format with each game to 11, win by 2 points.
Losers Bracket: Each match consists of one game to 15, win by two points except for the final match which determines 3rd place.
* Events will be combined if there are less than 5 teams. Depending on the number of registered players/teams in each event, we will combine events either based on skill or age to provide the best overall playing experience, given the circumstances.
Players must be paid and have a registered and paid partner to be confirmed. Players not paid and without registered and paid partners will be moved to a wait list 3 days after registration. Division in which a spot is being held will be filled with fully registered and paid teams.

Q: How long will the event last? A: Plan for roughly 3 hours (assuming you are winning). Delays happen for a variety of reasons however we try to mitigate that by only allowing 2 minutes of warm up and heckling teams that lollygag their score card back to the tournament desk.
Q: Will there be anyone to help us, we have never played a tournament before? A: Yes the tournament team will have a brief meeting with every division before they start to review format and rules. Feel free to message us with any questions you have (Its only $20 per question).
Q: What paddles are we allowed to use? A: Any paddle that is currently on the USAP Approved Paddle list. Here is the site to see if your paddle is on the approved list https://equipment.usapickleball.org/paddle-list. When checking in the tournament team will review all paddles.
