Gold Coast GET READY! PPA Tour Australia and MLP Australia are returning in June. We are excited to head to Voyager Tennis and Pickleball for the Gold Coast Slam with $100k+ in prize money up for grabs at this event!
Don't miss the action and excitement of MLP Australia as the region's top players battle it out each afternoon over three days to be crowned Champions for Event 3. We will also see round 3 of the MLPA Challenger and MLPA Masters Leagues, showcasing 64 of the best players across Australia and New Zealand.

FORMAT AND EVENTS
Divisions Available
This event welcomes players of all levels, with divisions designed for various skill levels and age groups. Find your perfect match and compete in:
3.49 and below: For players with lower intermediate skills or new to the game
3.49- 4.0: For players with intermediate skills
4.0 – 4.49: For advanced-intermediate players who are comfortable with competitive play
4.5+: For highly advanced players and those competing at a competitive level.
Pro 5.0+: For elite-level players including professional athletes who have extensive competitive experience in top-tier events.
Age-based Categories:
18U Juniors: For players under 18 years old, competing in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
19+: Open to players 19 years and older.
50+: For those in the 50+ age range, providing an opportunity to compete against players of a similar age
60+: For those 60 years and older, focusing on competitive play and fun for the senior community.

**You may play in 2 events in the same day as long as they meet your required rating and have a minimum 4hr start time difference

PRO FORMAT
Format Update: We’ll be using a Progressive Draw format for Pro 5.0+ divisions
The updated schedule is:
Thursday: Singles – 9:00 AM start through to semifinals
Friday: Mixed Doubles – 8:00 AM start through to semifinals
Saturday: Gender Doubles – 8:00 AM start through to semifinals
Sunday: Gold and Bronze medal matches + MLPA Championship Match
The registration deadline for PPA Tour Australia Pro Events is 26th May.
Qualifying rounds for PPA Pro Doubles, and Mixed Doubles will take place from 4pm on Thursday 5th June. A maximum of 10 players/teams will be able to participate in qualifiers, based on the number of registrations. Each athlete can participate in a maximum of 2 qualifying events.
- All athletes register via the qualifier for PPA Pro Events.
- Contracted MLPA/PPA Pro players receive automatic entry into the PRO Main Draw.
- Non-contracted players who sign up with contracted players will receive the next preference (based on - contracted players' PPA Ranking).
- Non-contracted players will then fill the remaining spots based on PPA Rankings Points, and DUPR.
Qualifier rounds take place when the overall team number (or player number for singles) exceeds a certain limit.
24 teams (or players for singles) in the Main Draw: We will run a qualifier for 10 teams (or players for singles) to qualify for the Main Draw of 24 (If venue capacity allows, a larger draw may be run).
After pro registration closes, we will determine how many teams/players get an automatic bid into the main draw, which will determine the size of the main draw and the qualifier rounds. Players will be notified by Wednesday, May 28th, following the pro registration deadline whether they are in the main draw or the qualifier rounds.
PPA Pro Qualifier Format:
Single Elimination 1 to 15, win by 2.
Starting at 4pm Thursday evening.
PPA Pro Main Draw Format:
Single Elimination 2/3 to 11, win by 2.
The losers of the semis will play a bronze medal match. Bronze and Gold played on Sunday 8th June.
OPEN AND MASTERS FORMAT (3.5+)
Skill Levels 3.0+ will play Pool Play 1 to 15 win by 2 - then into elimination rounds (Gold best 2 of 3, win by 2)
Skill Levels 4.0+ will play Pool Play unless draw size exceeds 12 teams.

$90.00/player, the First event is free.

Refund Policy
PPA Tour Australia will provide full refunds up to the close of registration (excluding transaction and service fees).
After registration closes, the provision of a medical certificate will ensure a full refund minus the transaction and service charges.
General withdrawal after the close of registration will result in a $90 registration payment being retained by PPA Tour Australia to cover costs incurred.
Once draws and times are published (1 week prior), no refund will be given, except when a medical certificate can be provided.
