IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
RATINGS: Players MUST be within .25 DUPR (low or high) of the event they wish to sign up. This means both players on a doubles team will need to meet the criteria for playing the event. See qualifications below:
Qualifications for Doubles:
3.0+ = Players between 2.751 - 3.749
3.5+ = Players between 3.251 - 4.249
4.0+ = Players between 3.751 - 4.749
4.5+ = Players between 4.251 - 5.249
Open = 4.5+
Qualifications for Singles:
1. Since there are little to no tournaments that offer singles, we are more relaxed on levels. If you have played a singles event which gave you a DUPR score, then please play within the criteria listed above for ratings.
2. If you do not have a DUPR score for singles, please use your best judgement in level when signing up for singles.
WHY ARE WE CHECKING LEVELS???
- Level of competition is higher
- No players playing too far below their level
- No players playing up in levels.
The qualifications listed above are for:
A. Players who want to test their ability in the next level.
B. Players who have earned a higher DUPR but want to continue to work through the level before
moving up.
C. Players who are in the middle of the pack to prove themselves and challenge themselves at the
same time.
This is a DUPR event.
1. If you do not have a DUPR rating, make an account on DUPR.com and attach your Pickleball Brackets profile to DUPR.
PARTNERS: You have 4 days from registration for your partner to register and get added to the event with you. After 4 days, you may be wait listed and may not get back into the event unless/until there is an opening.
It is your responsibility to notify your partner. Teams where both players are paid in an event will get priority over a wait listed team.
PLAY FORMAT:
Round Robin.
Each team will play a single round robin, 1-15, win-by-2.
Bracket Rounds: Two semifinal matches to 15, win by 2 to move on to the Gold and Bronze medal matches.
