The 2022 year-end Pickleball Kelowna Club Tournament is the last weekend of PKC's 2022 season, so let's get together and celebrate a successful pickleball season!

This tournament is for both 2022 Pickleball Kelowna Club members and non-members.

Members have advance registration from Aug 3-9.

Non-member registration begins Aug 10.

This tournament will have AGE brackets for all SKILL levels for Mens and Ladies Doubles, and Mixed.

3.0, 3.5 & 4.0: Open (16+) and 60+

4.5: Open (16+) and 50+

5.0: Open (16+) and 40+

The tourney will be a keep-your-partner ROUND ROBIN format, with 4-5 teams on 2 courts, playing 1 game to 15, win by 1. Brackets that have more than 5 teams (or pools) play 1 game to 11, win by 1.

Single pool brackets: the top 4 teams will advance to the finals - 1st plays 2nd in the Gold and Silver Medal Game; 3rd plays 4th in the Bronze Medal Game single elimination, one game to 15, win by 2.

Double pool brackets: the top 2 teams from each pool will merge to advance to the finals - 1st in pool 1 plays 1st in pool 2 in the Gold and Silver Medal Game; 2nd in pool 1 plays 2nd in pool 2 in the Bronze Medal Game single elimination, one game to 15, win by 2.

Players are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games.

Games will NOT have referees, instead a Head Referee will be available to answer any questions regarding rules if needed.

Membership has its benefits! PKC wanted to waive the registration fee of $65 for members, however due to Tournament Expenses there will be a reduced registration fee of $35, plus the $15 fee per event for members to pay.

Non-members will be charged both the $65 registration and the $15 event fees.

All fees are subject to GST.

Aug 10 Members previously registered have 6 days to connect to their partner and complete both registrations prior to being moved to a waitlist

Sept 14 Registration closes at 9:00 pm; last day for refunds

Sept 24 Event Day: Mens and Ladies Doubles

Sept 25 Event Day: Mixed Doubles

This is NOT a sanctioned tournament.

Results WILL affect your 'Pickleball Brackets Profile' rating; for members it will NOT affect your 'Pickleball Kelowna Club' rating.

Skill level is based on your 'Pickleball Brackets Profile' rating (the first rating you see when you look at your profile).

The Tournament Director reserves the right to review, and possibly alter the rating of players who self-rate below or above their actual rating, combine age and/or skill levels if required.

Pickleball Canada Registration Requirement:

All registrants must be members in good standing through Sept 25, 2022 to play in this tournament.

Registration Fees, less a $15.00 Administration Fee, will be refunded for withdrawals before September 14. Any withdrawals after September 14 will not be refunded.

Refunds will not be issued for cancellations due to acts of nature ie rain, fires or smoke.

This tournament will abide by all Public Health Orders and refunds will not be issued if cancelled due to PHO reasons ie restrictions on numbers for outdoor gatherings.

Gold medal winners will each be awarded a $25 gift certificate to Pickleball Depot.
