The 2023 year-end Pickleball Kelowna Club Fall Frenzy Tournament is the last full weekend of PKC's 2023 season, so let's get together and celebrate!

Membership has its benefits! Members will have early registration.

Men's, Women's and Mixed skill brackets: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0

AGE SPLITS, if applicable, will be determined AFTER registration completes.

The tourney will be a keep-your-partner ROUND ROBIN format.

Single Pool: The top 4 teams will advance to the finals - pre-medal matches to seed then 1st plays 2nd in the Gold and Silver Medal Game best 2 out of 3 to 11, win by 2 no cap; 3rd plays 4th in the Bronze Medal Game, one game to 15, win by 2 no cap.

Double Pool: Top 2 teams in each pool advance to pre-medal matches to seed, then seed 1 plays seed 2 for Gold and Silver Medal Game best 2 out of 3 to 11, win by 2 no cap; seed 3 plays seed 4 for the Bronze Medal Game, one game to 15, win by 2 no cap.

Format subject to change based on registrations.

Players are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games with brackets of 5 teams; 3 games with brackets or pools of 4 teams.

Medal games will be referreed, and the majority of other matches will be refereed.

Times: players will start at one of two start times - early morning or early afternoon and brackets are expected to take 3-4 hours to complete barring any weather delays.

Players registration is considered complete once both partners have registered and paid. Players have 3 days to complete both registrations. Incomplete registrations may be moved to a waitlist. Once complete, waitlisted players may be moved back into the bracket if room is available.

Every player will receive one food voucher included in their registration.

The majority of games will be refereed.

Sat Sept 23: Mens Doubles; Ladies Doubles

Sun Sept 24: Mixed Doubles

This is NOT a sanctioned tournament.

Results WILL affect your 'Pickleball Brackets Profile' rating; for members it will NOT affect your 'Pickleball Kelowna Club' rating.

Skill level is based on your 'Pickleball Brackets Profile' rating (the first rating you see when you look at your profile).

The Tournament Director reserves the right to combine age and/or skill levels if required based on registrations; review, and possibly move players who self-rate below or above their actual rating.

Pickleball Canada Registration Requirement:

All registrants must be members in good standing through Sept 24, 2023 to play in this tournament.

Registration Fees, less a $15.00 Administration Fee, will be refunded for withdrawals before September 14.

Any withdrawals after registration closes on September 14 will not be refunded.

Refunds will not be issued for cancellations due to acts of nature ie rain, fires or smoke.

All fees include GST.

There is no backup rain day.

This tournament will abide by all Public Health Orders and refunds will not be issued if cancelled due to PHO reasons ie restrictions on numbers for outdoor gatherings.
