Poverty is a serious issue but raising funds and awareness about poverty doesn’t have to be! This fun-filled, competitive event supports the struggling families that we serve at the South Jersey Dream Center.

Registration

Early Bird! $55 registration fee per player for one event, $10 fee for an additional event if you register before February 1, 2025. On February 1, 2025 - $65 registration fee per player for one event, $10 fee for an additional event. All event fees are tax-deductible. There is a non-refundable, non-tax deductible Pickleball Brackets service fee of $5 for one event or $10 for more than one event that will be applied to every registration. Players must complete a waiver and make payment during the registration process. Important: Registration is not complete until both partners have registered. Every registrant receives a South Jersey Dream Center free giveaway. Online Waiver must be agreed to at time of registration. Players must “level up” to the highest skill level on the team, and “age down” to the youngest player on the team. Older players are permitted to “age down” to a younger age group.

Format

A Round Robin format will be used with teams playing each other one time. At the Tournament Directors’ discretion, the format and number of games may be adjusted based on the number of teams in a bracket. Registering for this tournament means you accept that this may happen.

Waiting List

The second partner must sign up within 6 days of the first partner's registration. Incomplete teams will be moved to the waiting list after that or when registration closes. Once the second partner registers, they will be moved back into the event if there are spots left in the tournament and the event and registration is still open.

Scoring

Games are played straight to 11 (or 15 depending on the size of the bracket), no overtime. The team with the most wins in each bracket will be declared the winner. Tiebreakers are determined by head-to-head winner.

DUPR

The results of this tournament count toward your DUPR rating and scores will be automatically reported to DUPR. Players who do not have a current DUPR account will be prompted to create one during the registration process. Players with a DUPR rating must use that rating. The players PickleballBrackets.com tournament rating will be used for anyone who does not have a current DUPR rating. The self rating will be used for anyone who does not have either a DUPR or PickleballBrackets.com tournament rating.

Court Monitors

There will be two court monitors assigned to every three courts.

Brackets

At the Tournament Directors’ discretion, brackets may be combined based on the number of teams registered. Registering for this tournament means you accept that your bracket may be combined with a higher/lower skill and/or age bracket.

Awards

First, second, third place medals awarded in each bracket, even if combined.

Rules and Sanctioned Designation

To the best of our ability, this tournament adheres to the USA Pickleball Association (USAPA) Rulebook. This is a non-sanctioned event.

Venue

Players Courtyard Pickleball Club stands out as one of the most luxurious indoor pickleball clubs in the Northeast. It boasts 13 spacious concrete courts equipped with permanent nets and lines, topped with a brand-new, outdoor-quality Sportmaster finish.  The climate-controlled indoor club features 45-foot ceilings without any columns or obstructions, LED lighting, divider fences between all courts, and a comfortable, well-appointed 2000 square foot courtyard for relaxation and socializing between matches.

Tax-Deductible Receipt

The receipt you receive at checkout is your tax-deductible receipt for your event registration only, the Pickleball Brackets service fee is not tax-deductible. The South Jersey Dream Center is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; EIN #46-3760076

No refund for cancellations made after 3/15/25. Substitutes are permitted with same skill level and in same age group.

The tournament will only be cancelled if the facility shuts down due to inclement weather.
