Come join us for a day of fun and competition at the Monument Valley Pickleball Courts in Colorado Springs! This is a unique team-based draft-style round robin pickleball event for 4.0-5.5 rated men and 4.0-5.0 rated women where each player has a 1 in 4 chance of taking home a piece of the $2000+ prize pot!

If your event is FULL, please sign up to be on the waiting list. We will expand the capacity for each event once we have 8 people on the waiting list. You will not need to pay until you're off of the waiting list and added to the event.

Teams will be formed by a draft process where selected team captains will choose their teammates. Each player will rotate playing games with each of their teammates with varying round robin formats for 4-person or 6-person team divisions (see below).

We will use the Selkirk Pro S1 ball. Results will NOT be submitted to DUPR. Results will NOT count toward your PBB stats either, i.e. games will not count toward any rating metrics anywhere.

All players are subject to approval by the tournament directors. Players should have an established DUPR account and their rating should be at or above the minimum level of their event at the time of their registration.

Round Robin Format:

For 24 player divisions (4 teams of 6 players):

Each team member will partner with every other member of their team to play one game of standard scoring to 11 (win by 1) with every other member drafted to their team against the designated pairings of the opposing team.

There will be 5 rounds of each team playing 3 sets of games. Teams need to win at least 2 sets of games (out of 3) to win a round. Teams need to win at least 3 rounds (out of 5) to win the overall team match.

Winners of the first two team matches will play against each other using the same format in the final round. Losers of the first two team matches will play for 3rd place.

In this format, each player is guaranteed 10 total games.

For 16 player divisions (4 teams of 4 players):

Format is the same as above, but with 4 players per team there will be 3 rounds of each team playing 2 sets of games.

Each team will play the 3 other teams in their division, one at a time. Rather than tracking overall team win/loss records, the top 2 teams will be determined by total number of team points earned.

Teams will earn 1 point for each round tied and 2 points for each round won over the course of their 3 total team matches. For example, if a team wins all 3 rounds against all 3 teams, they will earn 18 points.

For the 1st/2nd place and 3rd/4th place matches, captains will pick 3 pairings for 3 games against the opposing team. All 4 team members must play at least once, 2 will play twice, but all pairings must be unique (no duplicates). The team that wins 2 out of 3 games wins their match.

In this format, each player is guaranteed at least 10 total games (11 total games max).

Draft Format:

We will hold a virtual draft after registration closes and before the day of the event (draft date/time TBD). The top 4 players of each gender will be designated as team captains and will take turns drafting teammates until there are 4 teams of 6 players (or 4 teams of 4 players depending on overall registration numbers). Once the top 4 teams are established, 4 more captains will be designated from the remaining pool of players and they will pick their teammates out of the remaining players in each gender pool. This process will repeat until all players have been picked for a team. At the end of the draft there will essentially be tiered divisions by skill level containing 4 teams each. Each division of 4 teams will only play teams within their division.

Players may withdraw and receive a full refund if requested by Sun, June 2 at 10pm. The $5 processing fee is non-refundable.

This is an outdoor event. If weather or any other unforeseen circumstance occurs, we will do all we can to play matches. If games are in mid-play when weather or an unforeseen circumstance occurs, the situation will be evaluated to determine if the games may be finished or if winners may be determined. If we are able to start your event (even if we do not finish it), a refund will not be given.

If we are unable to start your event due to weather, we will attempt to reschedule the event for another date. If you are unable to attend on the new date, you will receive a refund for the event fee only (not your full registration fee).

The winning team in each division will win the following prize money:

Men's Division 1 (top 16 players): $110 per person

Men's Division 2 (middle 24): $85 per person

Men's Division 3 (bottom 24): $60 per person

Women's Division 1 (top 16 players): $110 per person

Women's Division 2 (bottom 16): $70 per person

Total prize money = $2,030
