Welcome to the 2025 Pickle Smash & Burger Bash!

This tournament is a Southern Pickleball Association sanctioned tournament. Medal winners from this event will qualify for the 2026 Southern Pickleball Championships which will be held Dec 31 - Jan 4 at Rhythm and Rally in Macon, GA - the world's largest indoor pickleball facility.

Registration Cost is $60 and includes one event. Additional events are $15.

There is an additional $5 non-refundable pickleball.com processing fee for each event signed up for.

The schedule is as follows:

Saturday, May 31: Men's and Women's Doubles

Sunday, June 1: Mixed Doubles

Competition each day may begin as early as 8:00 AM. Specific start times for each event will be posted and emailed to players approximately one week prior to the event.

Last day to register and be guaranteed a FREE tournament shirt is May 16, 11:55pm.

Format of play will be round robin followed by medal brackets or medal matches for brackets with more than 4 teams.

As registration proceeds, tournament management reserves the option to combine brackets as needed if brackets do not fill. If brackets are combined to create playable brackets, awards will be based on the original division and not the combined bracket. Brackets will be combined by age if possible to avoid combining skills.

Skills levels include 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5+

Age groups are 16+, 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+, and 70+

A team must play at the skill level of the higher rated player (or higher) and the age group of the younger player. Age is calculated as of 12/31/2025.

RATINGS

DUPR ratings will be used. After registration closes the tournament staff will move players whose DUPR ratings have changed since registering for this tournament. Players with DUPR reliability rating of 50 or lower may appeal their current rating.

You may register and identify your partner or request ""Need partner"". Your partner must register within five days of your registration or the team will be moved to the wait list. When the identified partner registers after the five day grace period, the team will automatically move from the wait list back to the active list if there is a slot available and both teams have paid. If a player needs a partner, the team will automatically move from the wait list to the active list once a partner is identified, registers, and both players have paid if there is an available slot to move to. NOTE: Your spot in the tournament is not guaranteed until your partner has registered and all fees have been paid in full.

There are no referees. Matches are self-monitored. If a referee is requested, we will do our best to provide one.

Withdraw deadline is May 9, 2025 at midnight. Players may withdraw prior to midnight on May 9, 2025 for any reason and receive a refund minus a $20 administrative fee.

After May 9, 2025, there are no refunds for any reason unless a player has purchased tournament insurance. Tournament Insurance covers a player if the tournament is canceled due to weather or if a player or a player's partner must withdraw due to a medical or family emergency.

Additionally, player registration fees may not be transferred to other players.
