City of Westminster Recreation and Parks proudly presents, Pickle in the Park Tournament on June 3-4, 2023, with a rain date of June 10-11, 2023.

Saturday, June 3: Women's and Men's Doubles

Sunday, June 4: Mixed Doubles

Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles will start at 8:30 AM on their respective day. Men's Doubles will start around 12:30 PM on Saturday, June 3. This is a double elimination event.

Cost: $50 first event, $10 for second event (plus, non-refundable $5 software fee per event)

Brackets will be determined by the number of participants entered for each skill level then divided by age. Player levels/brackets may be adjusted/combined at tournament director discretion (age and skill level). Pickleball uses a rating system to rank picklers from beginners to experts. Ratings go from Level 1.0 (beginner) to Level 5.0 (top players). Player's will self-rate for this tournament. Need help? Please visit: https://pickleball.land/pickleball-ratings-explained. This is a Non-sanctioned event, the ball used is Franklin X-40, Green. Registration includes unisex t-shirt, winners’ medals, giveaways and refreshments.

Location is Westminster City Park (11 Longwell Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157), between Winters Street and Long Alley. We have both outdoor courts and indoor courts. Registration closes May 25, 2023. Each player must register individually.

When you register, if your partner does not register within 10 days, you will be moved to the waitlist, but as soon as your partner registers you will automatically be moved back into the bracket if there are openings still available.

Rain date for the event is June 10 and 11.

Under extenuating circumstances, refunds of registration fees and event fees may be offered up until May 1st due to illness or injury, except the PickleballBrackets.com $5 service fee per event. This is a non-refundable fee paid directly to our registration software vendor.

No refunds will be offered after the close of registration, except in the unforeseen circumstance of an event cancellation.

If you register for a waitlist, please note the $5 service fee per event is non-refundable, however if a space opens and you register from the waitlist then your service fee is applied to your registration fee.
