In this email, you will find all the information you need. Please read over it carefully!
All players must check-in at the tournament desk upon arrival to Fairgrounds @ Cloverdale Mall. (Please do not go onto the courts without checking in.)
WOMENS: 8:30 AM CHECK-IN. --> 9:00AM SHARP, MATCHES WILL BEGIN.
MENS INTERMEDIATE: 8:30 AM CHECK-IN. --> 9:00AM SHARP, MATCHES WILL BEGIN.
MENS ADVANCED: 9:00 AM CHECK-IN. --> 9:45AM SHARP, MATCHES WILL BEGIN.
Grab and Go Breakfast at 9am
Grab and Go Lunch around 12:30pm
SEMI-FINALS FOR ALL DIVISIONS SHOULD START AROUND 2:00 PM, FINALS TO FOLLOW.
TOURNAMENT SHOULD BE COMPLETED NO LATER THAN 4:00 PM (if all goes well with no delays)
Tournament Info:
- THIS IS A CHARITY TOURNAMENT FOR FUN!!. BE RESPECTFUL, NO YELLING OR SWEARING, NO ACTING UNRULY, CALL THE LINES AS FAIR AS POSSIBLE, AND RESPECT THE OTHER TEAMS CALLS.
- On your player PROFILE on Pickleballbrackets, make sure you have "receive in game text messages" checked to "Yes" and your cell number should be selected. This is how you will receive your game notifications, court assignment, and UPDATED scores after your match. Please keep your phone nearby, failure to show up to the match will result in a default.
- When you receive a TEXT with your court assignment, please come to the desk and pickup your basket.
- You will get a 5 min warmup time in your first match, 2 min warmup time for the rest going forward.
- WINNING team is responsible for filling out the SCORESHEET and bringing the basket with the 2 BALLS (even if a ball is broken) to the tournament desk. When filling out scoresheet, CIRCLE winning team and put down final score with "WINNER" beside the name.
- Please be patient in between games, as there are 114 players and 11 courts, note: there will be times where you might need to wait extended period of time in between games.
Facility Information
1. There are a few lockers on site. (Bring your own lock)
2. Yes Washrooms are on site.
2. Only clean non-marking footwear is permitted on the courts
3. There might be limited seating while waiting in between matches, consider bringing a small pop up chair.
