MELBOURNE, GET SET! It's our final stop for the year and and we're turning up the heat. Melbourne's getting its first taste of Major League Pickleball Australia (MLP Australia) and the debut of its home team, the Melbourne Mavericks. Join us as well for the Pacific Pickleball Leagues Open and Masters events in collaboration with Pickleball Australia Association (PAA). With a beefed-up, record prize pool of $70,000 and the best of the best competing, our final event for the 2023 season is shaping up to be legendary!

Join us at the Maroondah Nets in Melbourne, Australia from November 3rd-5th for our first Pacific Pro Pickleball event in the city.

Don't miss the action and excitement of MLP Australia as the region's top players battle it out - including the Brisbane Breakers (captained by Ludovica Sciaky), Gold Coast Glory (captained by Sarah Burr), Sydney Smash (captained by Mitch Hargreaves) and last but certainly not least the Melbourne Mavericks (captained by Aaron Blitz).

General player and spectator registration opens on Friday 6th October at 12pm AEST, so mark your calendars!

- MLP Australia Pro Teams Event: 1:00pm-9:00pm approx

Sunday 5th November:

- Open (4.0+) Mixed Double's: 8:00am

- Masters 50+ (3.5+) Mixed Double's: 10:00am [Indoor Courts + PickleRoll]

- Open (4.0+) Men's and Women's Single's: 1:00pm

- Winners Bracket: Best 2 out of 3, All games to 11 win by 2

- Consolation Bracket: Game to 15 win by 2

- Gold/Silver/Bronze Matches: Best 2 out of 3, All games to 11 win by 2

Entry Fee: $60.00/player, the First event is free.

- Opens: Second and Third Events are $20.00 each.

Qualifying Divisions

Open Doubles - Over subscribed draws will hold a local qualifier for teams that don’t meet the 4.0+ requirement as we still want to give all registered athletes an opportunity to compete in this event. This will occur from 5:30pm on Friday November 3rd at Maroondah Nets. If you are a local (Victorian) team that sits below the 4.0 rating requirement please be prepared for this. If you do not make it through the qualifier you will be refunded 50% entry fee.

Open Single - Over subscribed draws will hold a local qualifier for players that don’t meet the 4.0+ requirement as we still want to give all registered athletes an opportunity to compete in this event. This will occur from 10:30am on Sunday 5th November at Maroondah Nets. If you are a local (Victorian) player that sits below the 4.0 rating requirement please be prepared for this. If you do not make it through the qualifier you will be refunded 50% entry fee.

Pacific Pickleball will provide full refunds up to the close of registration (excluding transaction and service fees).

After registration closes, the provision of medical certificate will ensure a full refund minus the transaction and service charges.

General withdrawal after the close of registration will result in a $60 registration payment being retained by Pacific Pickleball to cover costs incurred.

Once draws and times are published (1 week prior), no refund will be given, except when a medical certificate can be provided.

Pacific Pickleball League and MLP Australia are thrilled to announce a record prize pool of $70,000 for our Melbourne tournament! With $20,000 allocated for Open (total $14,000) and Masters 50+ Categories (total $6,000), there will be plenty of opportunities for top-level competition and action. We have an additional $40,000 allocated for our MLP Australia Pro Teams Event, and for our final event of the year, $10,000 in prizes for our MVP's of the season across our events including Masters Mens and Womens MVP, Open Mens and Womens MVP, and our MLP Australia 2023 Season Champions.
