Welcome to the 2024 North Mid-Atlantic Regional Classic Championship
The tournament will be held at Cranberry Township's beautiful Graham Park! (North of Pittsburgh, PA)
We have 30 outdoor courts available for tournament play in which 19 of them are dedicated pickleball courts and 11 courts are temporary (cable-portable nets). Thirteen of the courts have lights. All courts are located together in one complex. Free parking right by the courts.
Tournament Description: North Mid-Atlantic Regional Classic Championship at Graham Park, Cranberry Township, PA.
This is a USA Pickleball Sanctioned MMP event. As an MMP sanctioned tournament, all results will be sent to USA Pickleball to be calculated into your UTPR Rating. As an MMP sanctioned tournament all medal matches plus 1 will have a referee. We will also be providing referees for some additional matches. You must have a current USA Pickleball membership to participate in the tournament. To join or renew your membership, please use the following link: https://usapickleball.org. Your membership must be valid through the last day of the tournament.
You may register for one event per day for a total of 4 events for the NMA Regional.
Format: Round Robin/Pool play followed by top 4 teams playing in single elimination bracket.
What is New this Year for the tournament:
ROUND ROBIN FORMAT: We will be offering round robin format followed by 4 team single elimination bracket instead of double elimination allowing for approximately 55 points before elimination instead of 37 points for double elimination.
FASTER OVERALL MATCHES: From the start of play to the Gold medal match will be a MUCH SHORTER time span than the double elimination format. This shorter wait time will allow for a more pleasant experience.
EXPLANATION OF COURTS: We will be expanding from 25 to 30 courts allowing for more play to occur in a shorter time frame.
EXPANDING FROM 3 DAYS TO 4 DAYS. This will allow for more teams and with an earlier finish.
ALL COURTS WILL BE SEPARATED BY A DIVIDING FENCE. This will minimize ball interference
.
CABEL NETS: Even the temporary courts will have steel cabled nets, not the flimsy temporary nets.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust brackets and format as needed.
1) Brackets for ages 12-64 will be combined by SKILL level, per USAP guidelines
2) Brackets for ages 65 and over will be combined by AGE level, per USAP guidelines
3) Medals will be awarded in each bracket.

Cranberry Township is one of the fastest growing communities in Western PA. A progressive and well managed community that puts value into quality of life with its three large parks and municipal golf course. Altogether, Cranberry has over 700 acres in their park system. Cranberry Township Pickleball Association (CTPA) is run by volunteers in partnership with the Cranberry Township Parks & Rec department. Now in its 7th year of operation, CTPA has 1500 members. CTPA is responsible for the maintenance and expansion of the pickleball complex and will have 30 courts. All net proceeds from the tournament go back to CTPA's expansion efforts and to promote pickleball and expand our tournament capabilities. We hope you enjoy your visit with us.
