Welcome to the Opening Celebration of the Mississippi State University Pickleball Courts Tournament! This tournament is going to be the first of many to be played on our BRAND NEW, PERMANENT courts! Come celebrate and enjoy a fun and exciting tournament with the MSU Pickleball Club.

ALL REGISTRATIONS AND PAYMENTS FOR THIS TOURNAMENT WILL BE **DONATIONS** TO THE MSU PICKLEBALL CLUB! Any refund requests will be handled in private and approved with our Club Sports coordinator. We will do our best to work around any weather that arises to make this tournament happen!

DIVISIONS: (any mix of partners- MXD, WD, MD but everyone will be playing together--not individual gender divisions)

--Open Challengers: show off your skills and compete against some of the best competition in the area! Games will be played to 11 win by 2; best 2 out of 3; Double Elimination

--Celebration Open Doubles: those who want to hang out and play some games in a tournament style format while being able to have fun and play some pickleball! Games will be played 1 game to 15 win by 2; Round-Robin format

Everyone will be guaranteed AT LEAST 2 games! Be prepared for this event to take all day, if needed.

We encourage you to bring your own hydration and snacks to last you throughout the day, though we will be providing some on-site.

PRIZES BY DIVISION

Open Challengers:

---GOLD--- two high-level performance paddles (>$180 per paddle)

---SILVER--- Approx. $100-$125 worth of pickleball-related gear (apparel, accessories, etc)

---BRONZE--- Approx. $75-$100 worth of pickleball-related gear (apparel, accessories, etc)

Celebration Open Doubles:

---GOLD--- <$50 worth of pickleball-related gear (apparel, accessories, etc)

---SILVER--- <$40 worth of pickleball-related gear (apparel, accessories, etc)

---BRONZE--- <$30 worth of pickleball-related gear (apparel, accessories, etc)
