The MTP Midsummer Dinkfest will be held from Saturday, August 24 to Sunday, August 25, 2024, at the More Than Pickleball (MTP) in Buford, GA. More Than Pickleball is an air-conditioned 8-court indoor pickleball facility with cushioned courts.

** $400 OPEN Bracket starts at 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 25. **

Start time TBA, but can be as early as 9:00AM depending on the number of players on each bracket.

FORMAT: Round Robin followed by playoff and/or single elimination medal round. After registrations are finalized, more detailed format and start times will be posted.

Brackets may be cancelled or limited in size based on registration numbers. The Tournament Director may modify the competition format in the event of low numbers or other unforeseen delays and circumstances.

Event Registration Policy

IMPORTANT!: Tournament Director may move your team to another bracket (lower or higher skill levels) based on your ratings, our knowledge, and for any other reasons. No refund will be allowed in case you are moved to a different bracket.

Registration is not complete until BOTH partners have registered, agreed to the tournament waiver, and paid all fees owing. Registration is limited in each event. We will verify all MTP member discount codes during registration. If you are not a current MTP member and use a discount code, the standard rate will apply, and you will be billed for the difference.

If you are waitlisted for an event, you do not need to make a payment for that event. Should you be moved from the waitlist into the event, you must make your payment at that time.

Competition courts will only be available for warm up 30-min prior to the start of the events each day. After the tournament has started, warm ups are restricted to the narrow warm-up court near the Front Desk. This helps us stay on schedule. Plan to arrive at the venue 45 - 60 minutes prior to the start of your event to allow time for check-in, warm-up and to prepare for your first match.

If there are not enough teams for a bracket, We will combine age divisions first, then skill divisions. Larger brackets, we will do a round robin and the top teams from each pool will move on to a playoff bracket. We reserve the right to combine or split brackets as necessary based on timing and those involved.

** Minimum of 4 games and up to 12 games to win medals.

Tournament balls: All brackets will use Swell.

This is a DUPR event and all matches will be automatically reported to DUPR.

Refunds will be accepted until Saturday, 8/17/2024 at noon - minus any pickleballbrackets.com service fees. After that date, refunds will not be granted for any reasons.

OPEN Bracket: Winning team of the Open bracket will receive $300 and the second place will receive $100. A minimum of 10 teams are required to guarantee the prize money. Amount will be reduced if the bracket has less than 10 teams.

Other brackets will also have cash prizes ranging from $50-$200, depending on the number of teams in the brackets. The final cash prize amount will be determined after registration is closed.
