There are 16 brackets. Individual players can connect with others to team up. If you have a partner, they have 5 days to register and form your team.

Registration is $60 per person. $10 off for early registration. Registration includes entry into 1 bracket. You may pay an additional fee to ente into a second bracket. If your start times overlap, you will be notified in advance and refunded.

Brackets: Men's, Men's 50+, Women's, Mixed,

1) 2.99 or under

2) 3.0 - 3.49

3) 3.5 - 3.99

4) 4.0 +

Each registrant will select their skill level, self-rated. Use your DUPR for those who have a rating.

Format:

Pool Play- All teams in their bracket play each other.

1. One game is played against each team in your bracket to 11 points (No winning by 2, first to 11 points)

2. Points will be recorded as the score of the game.

a. Team A wins with 11 points - 11 points will be awarded

b. Team B loses with 6 points - 6 points will be awarded.

Tournament

1. Tournament seeds will be determined by the number of wins, then points scored, then points

against, and if needed, the team that signed up first.

2. The top 4 teams from pool play will enter into the playoff. If a division is split into two brackets, then it will be the top 2 teams of each bracket going to the final 4 playoff.

3. Teams 1 and 4 play each other, while teams 2 and 3 play. Winners play for gold/silver and loosers play for bronze. Tournament games are single elimination, one game to 11, win by 1.

Bracket start times, number of total games played, and total length of play will be determined after the final registration deadline. We will let you know a few days in advance about the final schedule.

Goodie bags will be provided for every player with light snacks and water, and other items from our sponsors. Food vendors will be on site as well as other vendors. Paddle Ballers is raffling off 5 Vice Pro Paddles!

There will be seating and shade, but we highly recommend bringing your own portable seat.

We cannot control the weather. Should it not be possible to hold this tournament due to weather, we will do our best to move the event to a different day.

Matchpoint LLC is dedicated to providing a safe and fun sporting environment.

All participants should keep this in mind when becoming involved. Although the games may become

intense, you still can be competitive while maintaining good sportsmanship. Any behavior deemed

unacceptable by the staff may result in suspension and/or ejection from a match or the tournament.

Abuse of officials, referees, opposing players and other staff will not be tolerated. Fighting will be an automatic withdrawl from the tournament and grounds for removal from the facility. Any behavior deemed unacceptable by staff may result in a withdrawl match and/or tournament.

● If a player touches another player physically, inappropriately or with intent to harm, despite who

may be "right or wrong", they will be immediately withdrawn from the tournament.

● On their second offense, they will be banned.

***Remember, this is fun competition. Anyone exuding douchebaggery, rudeness or ignorance will be withdrawn from their match and maybe also be removed from the tournament as these actions eliminate fun for everyone else.

ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS ALLOWED. Drinks must either be in cups, plastic bottles, or in koozies.

Directors withhold the right to merge brackets as needed to obtain the minimum number of players needed to form an appropriate pool. Directors will do they best they can to stay within similar age and skill levels. Directors hold the right to decrease the minimum number of games played, but will do their best to stay at the advertised amount.
