Hello everyone! The Baroody Pickleball tournament at McLean Health and Racquet Club is just under two weeks away. Registration closes this Tuesday 8/22 at 11:55pm. Please make sure you and your partner are registered for all of the events you wish to play in by Tuesday.

PLEASE NOTE: We will be moving the 4.0+ brackets to the 6pm time slot to allow for the expansion of the 3.0 and 3.5 brackets. You will be notified if you are moved off the waitlist.

GROUP A: 8AM - Men’s Doubles (3.0, 3.5)

GROUP B: 12PM - Mixed Doubles (3.0, 3.5)

GROUP C: 3PM - Women’s Doubles (3.0, 3.5)

GROUP D: 6 PM - (4.0+ Divisions)

Format

Indoor courts, portable nets, Franklin X40 balls

Round Robin Pool play to 11 win by 2 to determine seeding

Some teams move onto single elimination bracket

One game to 15 win by 2 for gold, silver and bronze medal matches

Draws/pools will be announced after registration closes

Prize Money:

Only for 4.0+ divisions, ($ is per team, not per player. Exact prize money depends on registration and will be announced a few days before the event. Estimates based on 8 teams registering)

1st place: $250

2nd place: $100

3rd place: $50

Food and Drink:

Registration comes with 1 meal and 1 drink ticket

Additional food and beverage for purchase, water provided courtside

This Charity Tournament will raise funds to support the cost of windscreens at Lewinsville Park.

The entry fee includes a meal and 1 drink ticket (with the opportunity to purchase additional food and drinks).
