TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

Come and participate in our third Pickleball Tournament of 2025 -- the fun starts here!

Lifetime Activities' Summer Smash Pickleball Tournament features tons of doubles' play for advanced beginners and intermediate-level players of all ages. It's a great opportunity to enjoy some friendly competition, meet new people, and spend some time at the very well-appointed Sunnyvale Tennis Center.

Women's Doubles and Men's Doubles events both take place on Saturday, July 26th. Mixed doubles takes place on Sunday, July 27th. Tournament skill level brackets include 2.5 and under, 2.5 to 3.0, 3.0 to 3.5, and 3.5 to 4.0.

This is not an elimination-style tournament. All groupings will follow a 'round-robin' format -- this means plenty of exciting pickleball since all teams in a grouping will play each other! (Please note that this format will not employ a play-off structure.)

If you are new to tournaments, make this your first one! Lots of first-timers have a great time in our events. Our friendly and dedicated tournament staff foster a positive environment and look forward to another great tournament this time around. See you soon!

***ATTENTION*** Please note that this tournament does not align with DUPR. Players can agree amongst themselves if they would like to submit scores to DUPR, however Lifetime Activities will not perform this function.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

There is a $10 discount on tournament registration for participants enrolled in any Lifetime Activities session-based instructional programs during any of our 2025 summer I/II sessions. These folks are designated 'L.A. Students'.

While registering, you will see a space to enter the discount code. The discount code is: QSdVARpy

Discounts must be applied during registration; refunds for the discount amount will not be processed after the fact. Applications will be designated incomplete if the discount is applied by a non-qualifying registration (as use of this coupon code will be validated by our tournament staff).

REFUND POLICY

- Refund request deadline: 07/22.

- Withdrawals/cancellations requests submitted after 7/22 will result in no refund.

- The $5 Pickleballbrackets.com service fee is non-refundable.

- There is a $15 non-refundable admin fee applied by Lifetime Activities for any refund/withdrawal/cancellation requests.

- Participants are responsible for securing their own partners. Any participant registered for the tournament without a partner at the close of registration will be withdrawn from the tournament by management and will be refunded based on the tournament refund policy.

- 8/2 & 8/3: Tournament make-up dates in case inclement weather or poor air quality requires rescheduling.

- Refunds minus the aforementioned $5 service fee and $15 admin fee will be processed in case play moved to make-up dates needs to be canceled due to inclement weather or poor air quality.

- All applicable refund requests will be processed within 14 days of the final day of play.
