for an exciting and competitive pickleball tournament at Life Time Sugar Land.

We invite you to join us for a True Beginner Tournament on February 8th & 9th!

This is designed for players who are new to the game of pickleball or are still developing their skills.

Whether you’re learning the basics or improving your game, this is the perfect environment to challenge yourself and track your progress.

Location: Sugar Land Life Time Pickleball Courts

SPECIFIC START TIMES & LOCATION OF PLAY WILL BE SENT OUT 5-7 days PRIOR.

Tournament Format:

Events: Singles, Men's, Women's, and Mixed Doubles.

Game Guarantees: All participants are guaranteed to play multiple games.

Division Formats: Games will follow a round-robin style.

Refreshments & Atmosphere:

Enjoy a selection of snacks including fruits, vegetables, and baked goods to keep you fueled.

Hydration stations will be available for participants to stay refreshed.

Connect with fellow players and spectators as you celebrate the sport you love. Our basketball courts will be closed off to allow for plenty of space.

Registration Opens: December 25th, 2024 @ 8am

Registration Closes: February 6th, 2024 @ 12pm.

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION closes at 11:55pm on January 17th.

Non-Member: $50

Teams must register and pay as individuals.

All registrations must be completed via pickleballbrackets.com via credit/debit card.

ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE A DUPR ACCOUNT AND ADD SUGAR LAND LIFETIME AS A CLUB FOR US TO UPLOAD CORRECT RESULTS TO DUPR.

Divisions:

Saturday Morning: Women's and Men's Doubles (2.0-2.5, 2.5-3.0, 3.0-3.5)

Sunday: Mixed Doubles (2.0-2.5, 2.5-3.0, 3.0-3.5)

FORMAT:

Group stage round robin format of 3 teams or more per group (2 games minimum) and Medal round played in seeded bracket. Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Medalist will receive medals and a free month membership or credit dues for our Clubs going rate not to exceed $179

IMPORTANT WEATHER INFO:

Start Times may be adjusted depending on weather conditions.

DELAYS

If you are unavoidably detained and it appears that you will not arrive in time for your game/match, please contact the Tournament Director. We can update you on the schedule and consider options but your game may result in a forfeit.

If you are more than 10 minutes late for your game your result may be a forfeit!

All refunds are subject to a $10 cancellation fee. No refunds for any reason after cancellation deadline of December 25th, 2024.
