Join us for a weekend of pickleball fun on September 5th, 6th, and 7th in beautiful Grand Rapids, MN. This year's Lakes and Loons Pickleball Classic will feature Senior Day on Friday with men's and women's doubles for players ages 60 and above, mixed doubles competition on Saturday for all players, and men's and women's doubles open division on Sunday. Seniors can play all three days if they choose. Players must be at least 14 years-old to compete in the tournament.

The format for the 2025 tournament is pool play followed by double elimination bracket play with the back draw playing for the bronze medal. Teams are guaranteed a minimum of 5 games. Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams in each bracket.

The tournament directors reserve the right to modify or combine levels and/or age brackets depending on registration numbers.

On Friday evening, September 5th, the Itasca County Pickleball Association (ICPA) will be hosting a complimentary social for all tournament players. Please plan to join us for an evening of fun with our pickleball community. A light lunch will also be provided each day of the tournament for players.

This tournament has closed prior to the deadline over the past three years because we have reached capacity. Individual brackets will close when filled. Please register early to reserve your spot.

All tournament results will be submitted to DUPR. The tournament directors reserve the right to move players to appropriate divisions based on DUPR ratings and director discretion.

USAPA rules and equipment requirements will be followed.

Final start times will be announced by Sunday evening, August 31st. All players will receive an email with tournament information at that time.

Full refunds will be provided through August 31st minus the $5 event service fee for pickleballtournaments.com. Refunds will not be provided if any or a portion of the tournament is cancelled due to weather.

This is an outdoor tournament. There is no indoor back-up site. In case of weather concerns, communications will be sent via email to all participants. If the tournament is cancelled or delayed for any or all of the events, no refunds will be issued.
