Join us for a weekend of pickleball fun on June 23-25, 2023 in beautiful Grand Rapids, MN. The Itasca Pines Senior Classic Pickleball Tournament will feature a variety of events including singles, mixed doubles, men’s and women’s doubles, and team pickleball. There will be three age brackets: 50 – 59 years-old, 60 - 69 years old and 70 and above. Levels of play for most events include 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, as well as an open bracket with a cash payout for gold medal winners. A round robin format will be used with all teams advancing to a single elimination tournament. Players will be guaranteed a minimum of four games. The tournament directors reserve the right to modify/combine brackets based on registration numbers.

The registration fee is $10.00. Each event fee is $30.00 per player. Players participating in the open bracket will pay $50.00 for each event. The cash payout for the gold medal winners in the open bracket will be $100 per player.

Once one member of the team completes the registration process, the other member of the team has 15 days to complete the registration process as well. Teams that are not fully registered within that time frame will be moved to the wait list.

Registration will close on June 10, 2023.

Refunds will be available for tournament withdrawals, minus a $10 administrative fee. Refunds will be available until June 12th. After June 12th, no refunds will be given. The pickleballbrackets.com service fee, which is charged at the time of registration, is non-refundable. This fee is $5 per event and is capped at $10.

This will be an outdoor event, with no refunds in the case that the tournament or any part of the tournament would be cancelled due to weather. Every effort will be made to complete the tournament, but again, there will be no refunds due to weather related cancellations. Proceeds from this tournament support the Itasca County Pickleball Association and the Itasca County Family YMCA.

$100 will be awarded to each member of the gold medal winning teams in the Open Events for Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles and the Team Event.
