This Intro to Pickleball Class 2 is a follow-up for the players who attended the Intro to Pickleball Class on 25 March.

I have preregistered everyone who attended that class.

If you WANT TO ATTEND, please log into pickleballbrackets.com and go to the Intro to Pickleball Class 2 registration page and make your donation.

If you DO NOT WANT TO ATTEND, please log into pickleballbrackets.com and go to the Intro to Pickleball Class 2 registration page and withdraw your entry. You will not have to make a donation if you withdraw.

The class will run from 11 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, 15 April 2023. Please plan to come a few minutes early so we can start on time. Please wear comfortable gym clothing and appropriate shoes (no flip-flops or street shoes allowed).

As with the first class, we will be furnishing equipment (paddles and balls). If you already have a paddle please bring it. We will have some demo paddles if you want to try out a new paddle. We will also have paddles for sale ranging in price from $50 to $250. As with your donation, all proceeds from paddle sales go to our Mills Park Pickleball Fund at FCCPR (Foundation for Carson City Parks & Rec).

This event is sponsored by Carson City Parks & Recreation Department for the benefit of the Mills Park Pickleball Project. The Project funds are held by the Foundation for Carson City Parks & Recreation (FCCPR), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The funds raised by this event will be used for court maintenance and improvements at Mills Park.

The event will be conducted by volunteer coaches. Many of our volunteers have been playing for 5 to 10 years. We will try to have volunteer coaches on each of the 12 courts. You can expect to meet many of our regular players in the area who are always willing to share their knowledge and expertise with new players. Expect to have a lot of fun!

The donation is non-refundable. We are asking for this small donation to ensure that registrants actually attend the event. When we held classes in the past, we experienced as many as half of the people who signed up were no-shows.
