Tournament Description
To spread awareness of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of older adults in New Mexico; New Mexico Aging & Long-Term Services Department (ALTSD) is hosting the Inaugural Adult Abuse Prevention Pickleball Tournament. Join us for two days of pickleball and learn about community resources and ways to get involved as a volunteer in your community.
This will be a unsanctioned doubles event. Men's and Women's Doubles will be on Saturday June 24th. Mixed Doubles will be Sunday June 25th. Tournament start time will be 8am both days.
OPEN TO NEW MEXICO RESIDENTS ONLY!!!
THIS IS A FREE TOURNAMENT!!!

Recognizing the warning signs of older adult abuse can help determine if your loved one being neglected or disrespected. Indicators for elder abuse include changes in behavior or appearance, sudden displays of injury marks such as bruising or scarring or changes in finical resources.
