It is with great enthusiasm that the Rotary Club of St. Albert invites you to join us for our 2nd
Annual Charity Pickleball Tournament in support of the many impactful community initiatives we
support.
Following the incredible success of our inaugural event last year, we are excited to continue our
tradition of using this popular, fun, and inclusive sport to raise funds for Rotary’s mission of
making the world a better place. As the sport of Pickleball continues to grow both locally and
internationally, we see this event as a perfect opportunity to bring our community together, all
while supporting local initiatives and providing vital funding to numerous causes.
Pickleball has no economic, financial, or social barriers, making it a unique and inclusive sport
for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a newcomer, this event is open to
all levels of skill, and we invite you to come participate, spectate, or contribute in any way you
can. Our tournament will include different brackets and will take place in a fun, friendly, and
competitive environment.
As a non-profit service organization, the Rotary Club of St. Albert focuses on making a
difference both locally and globally. Proceeds from this event will support projects aligned with
Rotary's Seven Areas of Focus, including Basic Education and Literacy, Maternal and Child
Health, Disease Prevention and Treatment, and Water and Sanitation. These initiatives impact
lives on both a community and international scale, and we are proud to continue the Rotary
tradition of “Service Above Self”.
In addition to supporting local organizations such as the St. Albert Food Bank and Community
Village, Neutral Ground, St. Albert Sturgeon Hospice Association, Stop Abuse in Families,
Outreach High School, and Jessie’s House, funds raised will also go to grants and scholarships
for local students and assist other important community programs.
This event promises not only to be a day of fun and competition but a chance to make a
meaningful impact in our community and beyond. We are excited to have you join us in this
amazing opportunity to support the important work that Rotary does for communities worldwide.
We’d like to thank our sponsors, volunteers, and the amazing people who continue to support
our club’s mission. Without you, none of this would be possible. We look forward to seeing you
at the tournament!
