Grand Rapids Pickleball Club is excited to host the Earth Day Open tournament powered by Revolin Sports. This will be a round robin event. Medals will be provided to the winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd). In honor of Earth Day, Revolin will be donating a tree for every registration given through One Tree Planted.

We will combine age divisions first if there are not enough teams for a bracket, then skill divisions. Larger brackets, we will do a round robin and the top teams from each pool will move on to a playoff bracket. We reserve the right to combine or split brackets as necessary based on timing and those involved. For example, if we get enough 10-16 year olds in a bracket, we may run a juniors only bracket.

Hoping for some of our higher level matches to be broadcast, but stay tuned for more info!

Food trucks will be there also!

Schedule:

Friday April 21: Singles Day beginning at 12pm (our hope is you only have to take a half day off work!)

Saturday April 22: Gendered doubles beginning at 8am

Sunday April 23: Mixed Doubles beginning at 8am

Full schedule will be posted by Monday prior to the event. We will not know start times until then.

Registration cost will be refunded (minus any PickleballBracket.com fees), only up until 4/13/22 at 12:00pm. Beyond that, any cancellations will not be refunded for any reason. Exception: If you purchase tournament insurance and we get canceled for WEATHER only.

Cancellations made prior to the deadline of 4/13/22 will be refunded in full minus fees from Pickleball Brackets.

If you purchase tournament insurance: refunds will be given for weather decisions ONLY. Partial refunds will be given on a pro-rata basis if you get partially rained out, refunds will NOT be given for shortening up the bracket to get play in, and will NOT be given if you choose not to buy tournament insurance.
