Tournament Format:

• Open Division: Think you’ve got what it takes? Players must have a DUPR rating of 4.0 or higher to compete in this Double Elimination showdown. With cash prizes on the line, it’s time to bring your A-game! 💰

• All Other Divisions: Enjoy our Round Robin format—guaranteed to keep you playing, laughing, and maybe even inventing some new pickleball moves.

REGISTRATION & EVENT FEES

Registration Fees:

Early Bird Registration ($45): January 10-January 31, 2025

Normal Registration ($65): February 1-April 11, 2025

After Normal Registration Closes ($85): April 19, 2025

Event Fees:

Open Events ($55/player)

Non-Open Events ($20/player)

AMATEUR & OPEN LEVEL EVENTS

The events offered are for singles and doubles from the 3.0 to 5.0 & Open levels. Open level doubles events are intended for players with at least a 4.0+ DUPR Rating, however lower ratings may enter upon tournament director approval.

DISCOUNTS

Golden Gate Pickleball members can save $20 (making registration fee $45) after January 31, 2025. To qualify for discount you must be a member of Golden Gate Pickleball Club.

PAYMENT/PARTNER POLICY

Players must be paid and have a registered and paid partner to be confirmed. Players not paid and without registered and paid partners will be moved to a waitlist if the division in which a spot is being held is filled with fully registered and paid teams.

PARTNER REPLACEMENT POLICY

After registration is closed, any registered player losing a partner must replace that partner with an already registered player. The replacement partner must be in the same skill/age group that you are scheduled to play. Players can play down in age and up in skill. Replacements need to be known and communicated to the registration contact by 6pm the day before you are scheduled to play. Replacements can be found on the players needing partners list.

REFUND POLICY

If you withdraw before April 11, 2025, you will be issued a refund (with a $10 processing fee deducted).

Refund request after April 11, 2025 will not be refunded.

CANCELLATION DEADLINE

If you withdraw before April 11, 2025, you will be issued a refund (with a $10 processing fee deducted). Refunds will be issued at the conclusion of the tournament.

Prize money will be awarded to gold, silver, and bronze medalists in Open-level doubles events (i.e., Men's, Women's, and Mixed open-level doubles). Gift prizes will be awarded to all gold medalists outside of those events.

8+ teams registered:

Gold: $500/player

Silver: $250/player

Bronze: $100/player

4-7 teams registered:

Gold: $250/player

Silver: $125/player

Bronze: $50/player

Fewer than 4 teams: No cash prizes.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

This is an outdoor tournament. If weather is a factor, we will do all we can to play matches. There are no refunds, credits or make up days, if the tournament is impacted by weather. There is no indoor backup plan for this tournament.
