Tournament Description
Welcome to the Gator Pickleball Palooza, hosted by UF Club Pickleball! This tournament is open to everyone, not just UF students and alumni.
The tournament will take place April 12th-14th at the Southwest Recreation Center outdoor courts and Flavet Field courts on the campus of the University of Florida. The events on Friday will take place in the evening, while the Saturday and Sunday events will be held in the morning and into the afternoon. We will have 6 courts with temporary nets at Southwest, and 4 courts with permanent nets at Flavet.
3.0-4.5 brackets and Moneyball will be round robin style with an elimination/medal round to follow. Each team/player will play a minimum of three matches.

We are excited to announce the special Alumni vs Students event, which will be held at the Flavet courts during the afternoon of Saturday, April 13th. This event is MLP team style, meaning that all teams will consist of two women and two men. Signups for this event will not be done through this website. Please note:
*Tournament format is subject to change as necessary by the Tournament Director.
*Events of the same category could be merged if it is deemed necessary by the Tournament Director based on the quantity of entries. For example, the 3.0 and 3.5 events from a given category could be merged.
*Any listed events, event dates and start times, fees, or other items are subject to change at the discretion of the Tournament Director at any time.
*Tournament game scores will not be entered into DUPR
Additional Information
Registration is $20 before March 25.
Registration is $30 from March 25 to April 9.
The cost per event is $5 (excluding the Alumni vs. Student event)
The final day to register will be April 9th.
Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each event.
Waitlist teams will pay registration fee when moved into an active bracket.
Registration and payment is online through this website only; there will be no mail-in or in-person registration at the time of the tournament.
Refund Policy
Full refunds will be issued up to the final day of registration (April 9th). No refunds will be issued after this date.
In the case of inclement weather, we will do our best to reschedule events throughout the weekend. However, there is no guarantee that your event will be played if it is impacted by weather.
There will be no registration fee or regular event fee refunds issued in the case of weather cancellations. However, the $60 Moneyball event fee would be refunded if the Moneyball event is cancelled due to weather.
Prize Money
The registration fee for Moneyball will include the standard $20 or $30 fee, plus an additional $60 event fee to go towards the prize money pool.
Example Moneyball Singles payouts with an 8 player bracket:
1st Place - $280
2nd Place - $140
3rd Place - $60
Example Moneyball Doubles payouts (per team) with an 8 team bracket:
1st Place - $560
2nd Place - $280
3rd Place - $120
(These payouts are subject to change based on the number of signups)
