We are so excited to host our 1st fundraiser for The Full Tummy Project of Athens and Limestone County!! We provide 475 weekend food bags each week for children in need in all of the Athens City School System and several Limestone County Schools. This fundraiser will raise funds for our Christmas break food bags!

This will be a one day tournament for Mixed Doubles only on Saturday May 18th, 2024.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

* Register for the skill level desired (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, or 5.0). Team skill level will be determined by the player with the highest skill level on the team.

* Based on the number and ages of the registrants, we may divide the registrants into multiple age brackets to form round-robin brackets.

* Medals will be awarded for each bracket.

FORMAT UPDATE (5/13/2024)

* 3.0 brackets - Divided into 3 brackets with 6 teams each. Round-robin will be 1 game to 11 win by 2. The top 4 teams from the round robin will advance to a playoff. The playoffs will be the #1 Seed vs #4 Seed and #2 Seed vs #3 Seed with the winners advancing to the Gold medal and the losers advancing to the Bronze medal. All playoff matches will be 1 game to 15 win by 2.

* 3.5 brackets - Divided into 2 brackets with 4 teams each. Round-robin will be 1 game to 11 win by 2. All teams from the round robin will advance to a playoff. The playoffs will be the #1 Seed vs #4 Seed and #2 Seed vs #3 Seed with the winners advancing to the Gold medal and the losers advancing to the Bronze medal. All playoff matches will be 1 game to 15 win by 2.

* 4.0 and Above bracket - Double round-robin will be 1 game to 15 win by 2. Medals will be determined by games won, head-to-head, and point differential.

T-shirts will be provided to each participant. Extra t-shirts will be available to purchase the day of the event for $20.

Monetary and food donations may be collected that day.

Lunch items (Pack of crackers, protein bars, granola bars)

Fruit (Fruit cups)

Dinner items (Canned pasta, Ramen cups, soups, Mac & Cheese cups)

Snack items (Popcorn, chips, cookies, fruit snacks, Rice Krispie treats)

PLAYER WITHDRAWAL POLICY

* Full refund (less any non-refundable payment charges) if withdrawal is completed by May 3rd.

* Wait listed ONLY players will not be charged a processing fee and may remain on the wait list throughout the duration of the tournament.

* All refunds after May 3rd will be considered a request and evaluated by the tournament director.

* Please send your withdrawal/refund request to the Tournament Director.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

This is an outdoor tournament. There is no indoor back up. If weather is a factor, we will do all we can to play matches. There are no refunds or make up days if the tournament is impacted by weather.

We are monitoring the weather for the tournament Saturday. At this time, we are still planning on starting at 8:00 AM. If times change, we will post the information on the Pickleball Brackets website.

Please bring blowers, squeegees, towels, and other court drying equipment.
