Tournament Description

***a back up list has started for Mixed/Coed Scramble for 3.5 and up - we will not pull from this list until 10 days before the event.*** 9/7/24 630pm
FUN! - Oct 5 & 6 at Mitchell Park in Palo Alto, CA
FUN Scramble divisions - no partner needed - Beginners only - WILL NOT COUNT TOWARDS RATINGS
Fun Scramble for Laughs and Friendship, all skills, wear a costume (optional): Friendly, fun games, suitable for beginner players (up to skill level 3.0) as well as skilled players who want to help beginners have fun! Families are welcome. No DUPR rating is necessary, and scores will not be reported to DUPR. No partner needed. (Note: When signing up, please enter a 2 for your DUPR rating if you don’t have one.)
Intermediate Round Robin format WITH playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze medals.

Players will self rate and can not play lower than their DUPR or USA Pickleball Tournament Player Rating (UTPR).
Tournament Director reserves the right to correct underrated players.

Additional Information

Outdoor Round Robin tournament on tennis surface - 8 courts
Partner must register within 7 days or be moved to the waitlist
Payment is required to register (payment is per person)
August 7th - August 31 - $50 early registration + $15/event
September 1st to September 14th - $65 early registration + $15/event
September 15th, registration will be $80 + $15/event
Saturday - Men's & Women's Doubles
Sunday - Mixed Doubles
Format:
ALL Round Robin with playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze. All games/matches are win by 2
Most Round Robins are 1 to 15 but may change based on the number of players in the event. If an event has 7 or 8 teams, round-robin matches will be 1 to 11 by 2.
Top 4 teams go to the playoff (Lead in matches are 1 to 15 with the Gold Match with the option of 2/3-11w/2 or 1 to 15. Bronze Match 1 to 15.
TD may combine brackets as needed to ensure quality play.

Refund Policy

$10 Admin fee minimum for all withdrawals
No refunds after close of registration
If any event is cancelled due to weather there will be up to a 50% refund
