Welcome players and patriots to the Hub's Freedom to Dink Pickleball Tournament held at the HUB Jacksonville, a brand new 24-court pickleball facility located in Jacksonville (Orange Park). We boast 16 covered and 8 non-covered outdoor courts.

This two-day tournament will be held on July 5th and 6th at the Hub Jacksonville.

Dates and start times:

Saturday, July 5th - Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles

Sunday, July 6th - Mixed Doubles

We will not have the exact bracket start times until after registration closes. Play will begin in the morning and go through the day, so please clear your schedules.

Ratings:

DUPR ratings will be used to determine bracket placements. You are able to sign up for a division higher than your DUPR, but not lower. Note: a 3.5 division includes 3.5-3.99. No age divisions are used in this tournament.

We reserve the right to move players/teams into their appropriate skill bracket based on their DUPR rating at the time of the tournament (regardless of rating at the time of registration), as well as past tournament history. We do not have the power to move higher DUPR players into lower-rated divisions. Scores will be uploaded to DUPR.

Tournament Fees:

Each player must register and pay separately, even though you choose your partner, they must still register and pay the entry fee. If your Martner does not register within a week, you will be moved to the wait list.

- Hub Jax Club Members $20 registration fee, + $5/event, + $5/evnet fee to Pickleball Brackets.

- Non-Member - $35 registration fee, + $5/event, + $5/evnet fee to Pickleball Brackets.

Only members of the Hub Jacksonville will get a discount. Please make sure to sign up and get approved for The Hub Jax Club on pickleball.com to get this discount before registering. Divisions and Formats:

We do everything we can to avoid combining divisions, but 3 teams or fewer will run the possibility of being combined with the closest skill division. Medals will be awarded in the division you sign up for.

3-team division

- Double Round Robin, games 1-15

- Top 2 teams advanced to Gold Medal match, 1-15 win by 2

- The 3rd place team automatically receives a Bronze medal

4-team division

- Single Round Robin, games 1 to 15

- Semi-final (all 4 teams) - 1 to 15

- Bronze - 1 to 15

- Gold - 2/3 to 11

5-7 team bracket

- Single Round Robin, games 1 to 11

- Semi-final (top 4 teams) - 1 to 15

- Bronze - 1 to 15

- Gold - 2/3 to 11

8-9 team bracket

- Single Round Robin, games 1 to 11

- Semi-final (top 4 teams) - 1 to 15

- Bronze - 1 to 15

- Gold - 1 to 15

10-12 team bracket

- 2 pools, Single Round Robin, games 1 to 11

- Semi-final (top 2 teams from each pool) - 1 to 15

- Bronze - 1 to 15

- Gold - 2/3 to 11

Format is subject to change at any time. Matches may be played out of order to limit the time players wait between rounds.

All paddles must be on the USAP-approved paddle list.

The Hub Jacksonville has 16 covered courts. In the event of rain, the format may be changed to ensure all divisions get the chance to play.

Welcome to Florida in July. Your division may play some or all its games outdoors. Please keep hydrated. We have refreshments available in our pro shop and water refilling stations on site.
