The Fountain of Life Classic 2024 is the first of what we hope will become an annual event in Thomasville, GA. This tournament is geared for all skill levels and all ages. Our round robin format guarantees participants at least four games prior to the medal rounds. Participants will be divided on skill level and age. This promises to be a fun event, supporting a much needed facility in downtown Thomasville. All proceeds raised during the Fountain of Life Classic will go directly to support the shelter.

Fountain of Life Rescue is a non-profit, non-denominational, charitable organization for homeless women and men. Their mission is to extend hospitality in accordance with instructions contained in Mathew 25 and set forth by Jesus Christ. They carry out their mission by providing safe shelter for the homeless, supporting services for victims of homelessness and promoting community awareness and education to help prevent and break the cycle of homelessness.

Fountain of Life offers much more than just a bed to sleep in.

People who access the facility are also allowed to get a hot shower and wash their clothes, so they can have a sense of pride about them. Fountain of Life also gives people snacks and drinks and a dinner meal (provided by community volunteers) and provide them with follow up services such as the Thomas County Food Bank, Salvation Army and Veteran’s Affairs office.”

The Fountain of Life Rescue Shelter is currently open Thursday-Sunday from 6 p.m.- 8 a.m. and offer 21 beds to individuals in need. Located at 612 East Clay St in Thomasville, GA, Fountain of Life RRescue Shelter is funded completely by donations from our local community. Governed by an eight member board of directors, Fountain of Life provided 157 warm beds in the month of January 2024 for those seeking refuge,

Withdrawals before registration closes on March 9, 2024 will be refunding minus a $20 processing fee. No refunds after registration closes on March 9, 2024, please consider a donation to the Fountain of Life Rescue Shelter

We will do our best to play all matches but if we are rained out, we will give you the option to receive 50% of your registration fee ($25) or play on the rain date.
