Join us in April for the inaugural Evangel Valor - Gold Mechanical - Pickleball Tournament.

This tournament will be held on the Evangel campus in Springfield MO.

All proceeds will be generously MATCHED and will go towards the building of the new Valor Center, a 70,000 square foot state-of-the-art sports arena and athletic training facility. Come play and help support Evangel Valor athletics.

Registration includes a FREE T Shirt and lunch. Register by March 18th to guarantee your shirt size.

This tournament will be played on Friday, April 5th and Saturday, April 6th.

Mixed doubles and scrambles will be held on Friday, April 5th.

Mens doubles and womens doubles will be held on Saturday, April 6th.

Practice time will be available Thursday night April 4th from 5pm to 8pm for $5.

Entry fee is $50 plus fees for your first event and only $10 plus fees more for your second event.

Pickleballbrackets charges players to use the system for sign-up. That fee is passed on during signup. So, total cost to sign up for a single event should be $55 and $70 for both days.

PLEASE NOTE: Brackets start times will not be finalized until after registration closes. Exact bracket start times will be posted about 5-6 days prior to the tournament. In order to avoid long wait times, some brackets won't start until later in the day.

Brackets will be separated by age and then skill level. You may play DOWN in age and/or UP in skill at your discretion. You must play at the LOWER of both partners' age or the HIGHER of both partners' skill level.

Be sure to register for your preferred age/skill level and check your current Skill Rating on Pickleball Brackets & DUPR. If you do not know what skill level to register for, seek the advice of more experienced players or contact the Tournament Director.

Planned Age Divisions: 12+,50+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 80+

Planned Skill Divisions:

2.5-2.99 (beginner/recreational)

3.0-3.49 (novice)

3.5-3.99 (intermediate)

4.0 + (advanced)

70+ Mens Scramble

80+ Mens Scramble

70+ Womens Scramble

Brackets generally would need to have a minimum of 4 teams or else they will be combined with similar skill or age levels. Events may be merged or split based on registration numbers and at the discretion of the TD. Medals will be awarded based on standings in the merged event or the original event.

TIME: Friday April 5th - Noon start

Saturday April 6th - 8:00am start

Daily end times will depend on number of players. Bracket times will be posted the week of the event. You should arrive to check in roughly an hour before your bracket is scheduled to start.

The Ashcroft Center is hardwood. The Mabee Center is composite flooring.

Please note that there will be a registration "Service Fee" charged for each registration of $5.00 for 1 event or $10.00 for 2+ events. This is a non-refundable fee charged by the website.

Every effort will be made to play this tournament in its entirety.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

Withdrawals made before the registration deadline of will receive a full refund, less the nonrefundable service fees. No refunds will be given for withdrawals after the cancellation deadline.

This is an INDOOR tournament so the event will go as scheduled unless the facility is unable to host due to inclement weather or another reason. In that case, every effort will be made to play the games on their scheduled days, however, adjustments may be necessary, and no refunds will be given once an event has begun. If an entire event is completely cancelled due to inclement weather, refunds will be given for that event only, not for registration fees or other event fees.
