DUPR = Dreamland Universal Pickleball Ratings. DUPR is launching a new Universal Pickleball Ratings to bring new players into the sport and offer a more accurate, more transparent, and more adaptable ratings system for pickleball.

We will use machine learning/AI models to improve the ratings algorithm on a monthly basis.

DUPR website will launch on Feb 5, 2021.

FORMAT:

The format for the tournament is OPEN. There are no restrictions on ratings, age, or gender.

4 pools of 5 teams, so guaranteed 4 matches (game to 15)

Top 8 teams go to a single elimination bracket with best 2 of 3 to 11 matches.

ALL REGISTRANTS FOR THIS TOURNAMENT MUST SIGN UP FOR A FREE DUPR NUMBER BY THE MORNING OF THE TOURNAMENT.

This event will happen rain or shine!. All 4 of our courts are covered.

This tournament is a truly open event. There are no restrictions on ratings, mixed, or age. All are welcome.

Dreamland will reserve our covered courts on Friday Feb 5th and Saturday Feb 6th for open play and practice for tournament registrants.

All matches on all 4 courts will be live-streamed to Twitch, Facebook, and/or Youtube. All matches will also be played on a one hour delay on big screen TV's in the Dreamland Beer Garden and Sports Bar.
