This Second Annual Dinkers & Bangers Labor Day Pickleball Classic is organized and co-hosted by the Skaneateles Area Pickleball Club and the Skaneateles Volunteer Fire Department, as part of the 2023 Skaneateles Fire Department Field Days activities. The tournament will be a round-robin format, with medal qualifying and medal rounds, depending on registrations. There will be mens doubles, and womens doubles on Saturday, September 2, and mixed doubles on Sunday, September 3, 2023. Each event will have 2 age brackets, and each age bracket will be divided into 2 skill level brackets. With 12 courts available, we can accommodate up to 48 teams in each of the 3 events.

As part of the Skaneateles Fire Department's annual Labor Day weekend Field Days, there will be lots of other activities to enjoy. There will be amusement rides for the kids on both days very near the tennis court venue. Also, there will be a kids' Fun Run on Saturday in Austin park, and a terrific barbecue available for players and spectators alike. Come for the Pickleball, and stay for the Field Days!!

This is an outdoor tournament. There will be no refunds in the event of cancellation due to rain or weather conditions. All proceeds to benefit the Skaneateles Volunteer Fire Department.

There will be EMT staff at the courts.
